To everyone that keeps saying it needs more action... well its based on the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R That is a wasteland game as the video dictates. There is action in it of course but the idea behind it is survival and searching for a place to stay the night... Those nights are fucking scary..

I don't understand the beginning...director makes us understand the guy wakes up there and don't know why he is there..but the acting and the way he moves look like he knows that place very well, like if he were resting or something...so if he knows that place, what is he doing on the ground? Constructive criticism for director and actor...great location!

Nice Browning High-Power at the end. Pretty much a 9mm version of the M1911 with a slightly longer slide on some versions. Based off of John Brownings P35 it was made some years later after his death by FN Herstal in Belgium. Fun fact of the day.

Hard to tell, but i think the main character is wearing an American M17 gas mask or the Czech derivative M10M. The hazmat guys are using Finnish M61 protective masks.

Constructive criticism for the maker: I don't think our main charecter would be carrying around an LMG in this kind of situation, they tend to be really heavy and bulky which isn't the best in walking conditions that a Stalker would be in. Maybe a rifle, or carbine of sorts would have worked better. The two stalkers in the white suites should be wearing gloves, if they are going to go through all the trouble of getting hazmad suites, I think that they would also have the gloves to go with it.

@shimekukuri and the main character wouldnt of had his sleeve's rolled up. What would be the point of it, just sucking up radation through the skin at double the rate. Great idea though, and good choice of location.

@blakewooddrums If I'm right, Thomaston Georgia is an abanoned city. There is plenty in the world, most just don't realize it. There may even be one near you. I even recently found out there is an abanoned city called Centralia in Pennsylvania not so far from my house.

I knew this wasn't Pripyat/Chernobyl before I even saw the American flag. The toilet was too clean. If you've ever been to the Zone, you won't find a single proper drywall anywhere. It's all peeled off or peeling off. Imagine decades of rainfall, wind storms, rain and windstorms etc.. It won't leave anything in even half-decent condition.

@vanrocks97 The idea is that the camera is the stalker, because it killed the protagonist in the end (after killing the two surveyors first). So its a stalker/camera stalking the stalker/gunman who is also stalking the two white guys. Hope that made sense.

Huh, well, there are some differences between the epoch filmed and ex-ussr. The texture of bricks and tiles. Other things are very similar.

I also remember one thing in the beginning of film - recharging of machine gun. You should not show the left part of gun because viewer see the gun has not a belt feed mechanism. But, i see a very realistic effects of bullet hit.

Just a heads up for future post apocalyptic videos, make sure anyone who is trained in the film, ie CBRN guys (white suits) are wearing all the correct gear, like gloves. They're just contaminating open skin walking around like that. It was really good, just try to pay attention to minor detail.
