It seems pretty straight-foward, but if no on else will. . .

I believe the video to be portraying a figurehead, someone seeming to be in charge ( political or otherwise ) however they are driven by puppeteers behind the scenes. However, when things turn, he is made into a scapegoat, forced to eat his own words. But when he is left to his own devices, has his own ideas to keep to himself for reassurance.

Cex has always had deep-seeded roots in hip hop, and there have been far worse rap albums made with much less thought put into them. IDM has never and probably will never get the respect it deserves in the US, so I can't really blame him for switching up styles. His recent work seems pretty well balanced in both areas, hopefully he'll receive at least a little bit of credit where credit is due.
