Thank you thank you THANK YOU for posting this track here. This is probably one of the best tracks in any game. As much as I liked the Soundgarden soundtrack in the PS version, I was really disappointed tracks like this weren't in it.
I'll make a metal version of this track !! This is lovely (L) I remember when i was a little kid and was playing with this game at Sega 24-bit <3 ... awesome !! Five Stars ^^ Greetings from argentina.
heck ya!!!!.... brings back so many memories. Love the game and the music. Wish they make a new series but do it by keeping the quality. I rather have a good game to continue the series rather then a crappy one.
00DA 1V0N + Level 5 Arizona FTW... I loved this song as a kid... so much so that i BLAST IT in my ipod as I bend curves on my CBR 600 at 100+ ... makes me ride like i seriously put a quarter in my gas tank. =)
*Pictures going past the finish line in first and the player going "yeh yeh yeh yeh"* lol
These were the days, no worrys, just school and coming home to play the Mega Drive with Road Rash, Super Monaco GP, Sonic, Micro Machines, Toejam and Earl etc...

Okay, this is the first time I actually listened to this track on Youtube in its entirety. I'm disappointed. When the music loops, the percussion part is supposed to change/reverse. It doesn't here.
I know this was probably difficult to make, and in this quality and everything, but heeeey. That was such an awesome feature in this song. =O
Someone said this is a cover of a real song? Holy shit. I want it. What is it? =O
Seriously, Vermont is awesome. I always dreamed that whenever I got the ability, I'd do an extended version of this song. I'd love to hear the original song. =)
I'm still trying to find out what it is. I remember when I was real little I heard the actual song this is based on on the radio, but they never said what the song was and I couldn't remember any lyrics (except perhaps they lyrics MAY mention a person named "Johnny" )
This game is King! and Nhl 95 and Sonic Headhoge 1 and 2 :) I LOVE this old stuff. brings me back to the days when i was thin and had fun when it was so much fun to be outside. come home and relax with awesome games with my brother or my friend ;)
man the genesis had to handle it.man the system was one out of the few who could handle the rawness of rock, metal music, maybe this doesnt sound like real guitars but its defnmitly thick enough to sound raw.
Absolute Class. Along with the first game, and the Strees of Rage series, this had some of the finest music on the megadrive.
And yes indeed,Rob Hubbard is the Man! Not contempt with composing classic Commodore 64 compostitions in the 80s,he saw fit to lay waste the competition in the early 90s with these tunes.
Incredible game too,of course! Despite the interaction, sophistication and presentation of todays games, give me the classics any day!
rob hubbard and 50hz forever!! we europeans had a distorted game reality in those days but especially with hubbard ea music - slower and different but definitely more atmospheric somehow (or is it just my own nostalgia?) i am glad though that i can play the game at full speed now with my modded mega drive.

It feels like Amon Amarth has listened on this tune when they made the song "fate of norns". The Ref got a tune like this one at 0:26
