  • do long bows and crossbows have vey much stoping power, say with a small roe deer gun licensing in the uk is very strict so im considering a crossbow but rows like thick cover so it would have to be stoped dead in its tracks.i dont have a dog.

  • @williamswhistlepipes You could kill a deer without any problems with one, but they're tricky to learn to shoot well -- not that I can -- and more difficult to hunt with. Plenty of people hunt archery here and the technology has improved vastly since men hunted with bows like the one I am using. There are mechanical broadheads which open when they hit flesh and dig large wound channels in their targets. I'd make a recommendation as to what to look at, but I have yet to hunt with a bow.

  • Very nice. Liked the different angles and the freeze frames to show your stance and long draw. Great. By the way, I sympathise with your elbow tendonitis. My left elbow has been pretty well damaged for life from shooting my 123 lb yew bow, but once it has warmed up and something inside clicks into place it is not too bad!

  • @bigbowbrum I'm sorry to hear that. I experience something similar once I get warmed up as well.

  • cool but an angle showing the arrows in flight would be cooler....:]

  • @xbox360jr11 I agree, but I need a camera man for that.
