@ScaryHauntsNation Thanks for the comment! the cost..Well i have been collecting for almost 20 years. In the last 3 to 4 years i have spent just about 300 to 500 for up keep. I hardly will purchase new props. My money goes into black trap, jute netting,Lighting, fog jucie. If there is a really good prop that will go with my theme i will purchase it. Its a FREE haunt with all donations go to Breast Cancer Research.

I was thinking about adding a Witch Room, Zombie Room and Exorcist room. What i do now, its all about making the rooms as detailed as possible. Maybe you can give me some ideas about new rooms??
@matthewbch98 Ok. Well I think a toxic waste plant room would be great, with florescent green light, always is a plus. and u could incorperate zombies with that. Exorcist room is good, just be careful with that.... people can get touchy with that. whiches are good too! how about a modern day bedroom, but just completly haunted out, ie... creepy girl on the bed, or a creepy mother, or creepy dolls... u know stuff like that. or a kitchen? obviously haunted version.

@matthewbch98 yeah I would definitly consider that! it could almost double as a meat locker and kitchen... have them correspond and relate some how. but i dont remember if u had it, but maybe a crystal ball room with a creeper person peering over the ball. but honestly you can probably take any idea and make it halloween worthy. Glad to be able to help!
@ScaryHauntsNation I can incorporate the crystal ball within the witch room.Too bad I didn’t film a video with all my actors. They did a really good job scaring everyone. I was also thinking maybe a haunted forest room I was given 8 of the big trees that spirit had in 2008 the good sturdy trees not the cheap ones they sells now I can them with a artificial hanging foliage,hanging snakes and get a ghillie suit for someone to wear that looks like the backdrop of the forest.

@ScaryHauntsNation All the props you see,are day after halloween sale. Local halloween stores know about my haunt and they help me out with certians items i need.
@crazyman00012 When Gemmy came out with their first full size character that was him. A full size Freddy. He is impossible to find now a days. You will see him go on ebay for sale but people will ask for 500 to 700 dollars for him now. I was lucky one year a guy had him brand new in a box selling him on craigslist for 150. So i picked him up rt away. Gemmy products now have a new movie version of him, which i have he is in my Freddy room.
@crazyman00012 The old Freddy is really cool, I like the quotes he says. Am with you i would only spend that much too. But He is a collectors item. I try to collect all the gemmy products, there is so many now that i will only buy what goes with my haunt. unless if i want to add or change a room.

@matthewbch98 Actually the one i want MOST is the lifesize scientist (Dr.Shivers) in your scientist room (not the big headed one) i would only pay up to 250 again though, and i do think i want him more than Freddy.

@deoblo85 =) well thank you thats means alot i wish i could help with a pro haunt.. what i do for the younger kids and adult is on the 1st night i run it, its a walk through for the little kids to see if they will be able to handle it with the fog and actors, The adults love it, they get to see all the detail work that i put into each room.
@rschiff242 I have a 3 car garage the part where u can part 1 car that is where i keep all my full size props and the all the other stuff goes into a 10X10 storage unit. Ive been lucky with alot of the detail room props, like u see from spirit, that was donated to me, cause they know what i do for our community. let me know if you have any other questions.
@deoblo85 Lol almost 20 years if collecting, I never paid anything full price. I shop for the deals and after halloween sales are the best. Alot of props and i still had some left over that i didnt use.
@pumpkinman3211 I used the flickering candle in them, i didnt plug them in.. its hard to see in the video but there lit, if you check out the night video u might be able to see them.
@freerunning10 Thanks for the comment, It took me about 2 months, I had to re design my entire haunt, all new themed rooms, I put on a jute netting roof which took me alot longer then i thought, As far as money i spent $300 on black trap and jute netting. @freerunning10 Thx!! I've been collecting and making props for over 16 yrs. I do it for the little kids, The adults seem to enjoy it more. They leave the little ones near the graveyard watching the singing pumpkins, while they walk through the haunt. I had about 2500 people walk through for the 3days i was running the haunt.
