  • Crazy power

  • this things burns up spur gears. and its too lean. plus the idle is too high. i suggest starting it, warming it up, and turning the idle screw untill it cuts off. then turn it 1/16 the opposite way, it should be perfect.

  • @yurrm0mlikesrctrucks It was a little bit lean, but the idle was not too high. The pipe makes it high when the engine warm up. Also, I never broke a single spur gear!

  • @Damino95 Nice like the setup do u have revo clutch Problems and do u have the stock clutch???

  • @jccb487 I never had a problem with the clutch. It was a metal 3 shoes.

  • @Damino95 who is the three shoe revo clutch made buy and what spring rates do u have in it???

  • @jccb487 Sorry, I don't know. I sold the engine with the clutch in it about 3 months ago

  • Does it strip gears a lot. And i the motor as easy to tune as the trx 3.3

  • @rustlervxl97 I never stripped a gear. The engine is not as easy as the 3.3, but it still easy. The break-in is VERY long. 7-8 tank

  • Cool I will get one for my revo

  • whats the top speed?

  • @rustlervxl97 I'd say 55-60 MPH with the good gearing and a good straight line. I clocked it with this gearing on a short strip at 44 MPH

  • Those tires look beastly. Proline badlands?

  • @PietenpolAirCamper Yeap, they grip as hell!

  • sounds like you should adjust the idle

  • do i have to use big block kit or can i fit it on stock engine mounts?

  • Sounds awesome!! I was wondering what kind of a header setup you are running with that macs pipe?

  • nice vid man!

what cb/spur gears are you running?

  • lol, its so loud when the pipe comes off. Happened several times to me before. Nice revo.

  • Lol yeah, it's was loud as hell.

  • i heard that you just use the traxxas break in method for this motor is that true if not what is the break in proccess

  • You can use whatever process you want, i used the traxxas method and got 9 gallons out of my first picco only to break a rod due to me being dumb and over reving it. My second picco is going on about the same amount of fuel and still runs great and the compression still is enough to pick the truck up with the pullstart.

  • ya thats what i thought cuz its way to big of a motor to not make a difference well thanks for helping me with the info you sold me on it!!!! ya ill prob get one here soon seems how i sold my old 3.3 and now im going to get the picco for it=)

  • Hehe.

Only one things with these engine: The break-in is very long.

  • ya i stil wouldnt imagine that even if your pipe was off by a little the motor in it is just way to big to not make a difference you know what i mean???????

  • Even with a gap between the silicon joint and the manifold it makes a difference...

  • btw this truck sounds way mener than anything i have ever heard and how in the world did you get the idea of putting a boat pipe on it????

  • I've wanted some crazy sound and power. But you need to cut the pipe perfectly at the right place or your gonna mess up everything.

  • thats what i thought cuz i was thinking the only way you are going to brake your axles and crap like that is if youre realy trying really hard to cuz the revos are like the tuffest truck i have ever owned and there the most dependable fun and fast trucks stock too but mine now that its modified its so sick but i cant figure out how to upload the vids can you help

  • The easier is to go en the main page, and to the right top corner, there is an "Add video" button or something like this.

  • ive heard things like that motor has so much power that it brakes things like your axles like every run is that true????

  • For the year I got my truck, I only broke an A-Arm that is not related to the transmission of the power.

  • hey man i have a revo 3.3 and im going to put that motor in it for racing would you recomind this motor is it very dependable

  • Very denpendable, easy to tune, and as you can see... alot of torque! :D

  • def. a bit lean ther, sounds like a beast tho

  • Yeah, thanks, it was a lil bit lean, but it always make this sound because of the pipe, it's "normal".

And yeah, it's a beast, too much power and noise..!

  • i like how he tried to cover up his failure but then noted it on the video.

  • When the pipe came off?

No, I only put the camera like that to pinch the fuel line.

  • did u just switch out the engine with a bigger one?

  • Tranny/bigger engine/diffs/pipe/shocks/ABModed/Polished/Ported.

  • hi, nice vid... I have the same truck with the same engine, but I wonder, that pipe you wearing?

  • A boat pipe. MACS pipe. ;)

  • what r u doing to your truck man, get someone to hold the cam..

  • I will make another vid with someone holding the cam

  • shame about the driver

  • Try to drive and record at the same time...

  • depends what control you have.

  • Spektrum DX3S

  • not that hard to drive one handed with.

  • Yeah not too bad ;)

  • Nice... in action! Dang it is powerful and sounds like a bee!! Thanks for sharing it..

    RR

  • Haha tanks! ;)

  • what picco iss that 4.2?

  • Yes

  • cool i have the same but i didnt instal yet in my revo

  • Thanks!

You think thats it's a little bit lean?

  • just a little

  • gotta love the badlands ay.
