When converting fraction (such as 6/23) to a decimal...How do you modify a fraction (that has number in its denominator that does not evenly go into 100) so to retain its value but has a denominator of 100?

@1980sCoverband When the denominator does not go into 100 evenly, you have to use long division.

when modifying, why do you have to multiply by 20/20, then on next problem 50/50, etc.?
