Why not just use a sledge, and save the driving around with that?? And why not use a grab to put them on the trailer too, cuz it'll be a hech of a lot straighter! ;)
Sounds like a decent way to bale for a small farm, but hand stacking normally is just as easy and less costly. Good idea, but not efficient enough to do massive amounts quickly enough to be worth it I don't think, and thats the only customers that will likely be looking for a system.
I'd like to see this load a wagon 4 or 5 stacks high. My guess is it would be unstable. Web site said it could be used as a grapple also, I would like to see it take it off the wagon and stack it in the barn. It might do it i dont know, If it does I sure would like to see those videos. Just my thoughts.
We were going to shoot and produce another video showing that, this last summer. Our schedule had us going all over the country and we just didn't have time to get it done. We'll try again summer of 2010.
maybe work but not time, this would take forever and by the time you spend money on this and all the fuel you might as well get a kick baler and wagon and pay someone to help you unload it
Actually, that's not quite accurate. For instance, this video took just a few minutes to shoot. I watched him, off camera, continue to load the trailer with extra bails that laying around. He had three or four (I don't remember exactly) high within about 10 minutes! It was really something to watch!
i think this is a good idea, maybe need to modify wagon to keep bales from getting away on the move
