It plays Crysis at 1680X1050 everything on Very High with the Realism graphics mod on my rig. Of course Its paired with top end hardware, but it has the ability to play Crysis.

600mhz is a slower card than an 8800gtxxx and it runs 8 degrees hotter than an 8800gtxxx65nm version. a 9800 600mhz clocked like an 8800gtxxx is a few 8-10 frames slower than an 8800gtxxx 65nm, sorry but it is! I speak from hands on with both products.

Source engine. Everything maxed out 100fps + at say 1600x1200. If u have lower res monitor then its gonna be even faster.

Cod4 maxed it out at 60fps +

Crysis can run about 1280x1024 at all High around 40-50fps.

Far Cry 2 maxxed out about 40-50fps.

Yes it can actually. The only thing the GTS has is 128 SPs compared to the GT's 112. The GT can be OC'ed to GTS speeds anyway and costs less. It is only around 5% slower than the GTS so do your research before making such statements.

Yes, actually 1.1 :P as 1.0 was never released to the public. an 8800GT won't use the bandwidth of PCI E 1.1 8x, so there is no advangate of using PCI E 2.0 x 16. Even though I have a motherboard that has this feature and running a GT haha :P

i think he is frikin lying on the crysis results. I run medium on 28-30 fps, easily playable, with a 7600gt you DONT need the 8800 like hes making it sound. I have a 2.4 ghz single core cpu also, crysis on medium looks fine.

he's not lying. I think you're stubborn. This card is brilliant and very cheap. The only issue is it runs very hot b/c the fan doesn't increase speed with temp. Also you don't need any of this but gamers like to have the latest and greatest. I don't play Crysis b/c I think it's lame but I do play UT3 and this card rocks it on high. 7600gt would catch fire if it could even run oblivion or UT3 on high.

the version 256mb is for resolution of 1024 x 800 pixeles in full filter, but the version of 512mb is for resolution of 1248 x 1024 to 1600 x 1200 or hdtv, i recomended the version 512mb ram for the filter x16 and antialisin 2x 4x 6x 8xs sorry my inglish

i actually run Crysis on my old system with a 300W powersupply, MSI GeForce 6600 Diamond edition, 2 gigs of RAM(Crucial i think), AMD Athlon 64 3400+ 2,4 and a MSI Gold edition K8N Neo3 motherboard... Not so good in medium but lag free on low. that system has been working for me in some years now, but it's time to buy a new one :)
