stop fcking Karimov and go buy a pair of organic jeans and never buy non-organic cotton, not fairly traded... And don't whine that it's expensive, fair trade ain't cheap. Save for it and then buy.

i like their traditions, culture and its people. Though, im not uzbek but i felt pity for their people on how their government make use of its own people just for their own profits.

sad thing that karimov abuses its own people and even the children to work in cotton field which they suppose to go to school. This cotton cultivation has uses so much of pesticide chemicals that causes hazards to human health. Now Uzbek people had suffered dieases such as tuberculosis, cancer etc And the catastrophe of aral sea shrinking, many men loses their jobs as fishermen. The remaining high percentage of salts on the soil ground may even impossible for them to cultivate any crops.
