A grenade form the driver could have flow out and the guy shot it. Think about it. Dont be one sided.

@skillzlikeal Could be lag then. Hmmm. In halo 3, the player is defined by a box. It doesnt follow the shap of the body. Mabye the angle was just there and your punch killed him. Remember, Some damage was done to him when the car crashed. Also, did u get a betrayal for it?

my theory id that the hit box glitched when the warthog impacted on the ground and the passenger just punched at the right time and the hitbox did something or... it's just the warthog went so fast the hitbox went crazy. :)

u can clearly see that the warthog impacted on the driver and if you look in the frame by frame the grenades flying from the dead driver hit the turret man killing him instantly leaving the passenger unharmed. i have no idea how he survived the explosion

You killed him because there was a frame progressing in the game engine that made the warhog smaller and also since you punched at the same moment the worthog landed which caused the punch contact to be closer to his back, a closer distance that it would usually be.
