Anyway it was funny you say that they say they are not addicted. the chemical name for ritalin is "methylphenidate" so ya, they are giving "meth" to kids. And coming from a chemical engineer its not hard to alter one tiny structure of the molecule so that it is no longer an amphetamine but its still so close there is no difference.
