IMO both Muramasa and OS are great game for who love 2d side scrolling RPG/Game. Well i love 2d side scroll RPG since I play blue bomber Megaman (a lot of castlevenia or megaman fans love to play side scroll RPG), and also side scrolling RPG are rare to find in these days anyways.

This game has such an awkward system of leveling up that I didn't even realize. My brother had to tell me because I never really noticed. It's crazy that I can only level up by eating food? Well that and defeating bosses, but it's just bizzare. I'm so used to leveling by defeating all enemies. But I digress.

Now for my unintelligent part of the comment (cuz they all need them... lol) Doesn't the onions look kinda like piggies? idk, I thought them in imo Good game though

This game proves that you don't need mindblowing graphics to make a great product. The story is excellent, the gameplay is stimulating and entertaining, it looks sharp and colorful, it sounds awesome and epic. Truly a PS2 underrated RPG classic, along with Tales of the Abyss, Wild ARMs V and Shining Force EXA.

Frankly, I haven't completely finished either Odin Sphere or Muramasa (just Gwendolyn's chapter and Kisuke's story respectively) but I've seen enough to say that Odin Sphere has more of a story going for it than Muramasa, whereas Muramasa's gameplay is considerably less repetitive. As far as design and presentation go, I'd say they are about even.

eating stuff will give you HP experience, personally i prefeer napples, also by absorbing phozons will your weapon experience increase, also by selecting home from the start menu will you restart the chapter wit al the stuff you had before selecting it (and with the same amount of experience)
