Just off hand, I know that the BILL OF RIGHTS are absolutely critical protections that we have as citizens. The 7th Amendment would sure seem to apply here. The BILL OF RIGHTS must be VIGOROUSLY ENFORCED by all means available, by our Congress. I am encouraged that Jackie at least stated that she was opposed to the Iraq war. And I am encouraged, though I am waiting to see action... on Jackie's speech where she says that she "....will protect Main Street from those on Wall Street" (paraphrased)

Each and every day I have to worry about this fraud even though I am the victim....and so are ALL AMERICAN TAXPAYERS!! Fact of the matter is that I know too much and have witnessed too much. I worry about my family more than anything.

I was specifically told (not by Jackie's office) that if I tried to pursue the recovery of my business ...."they will bring up (false) charges against me and put me in jail". That is a serious threat. I dont doubt it either.

Contrary to what I was told by Margo Rosen, the Congress does have oversight authority with federal judges. Judge Susan Illston in San Francisco to be more specific.

In my case the judge completely threw out the jury verdict, then imposed her own verdict- 6 months after the trial. This NEW verdict said the entirety of my business assets were forfeited because a tax return was filed late (on extension fwiw). As bizarre and illegal as that may sound.... it is the God's honest truth!!!

Ms. Margo Rosen has a special knack for belittling a constituents' legitimate complaint. If Ms. Rosen takes over your complaint (after its first passed around the office 3-4 times) then you will know that the "round-file" is the next step. She is the long time assistant manager to Jackie Speier. The "gatekeeper" who will terminate your complaint.

And to be fair to Jackie, I did notify her in writing and still no reply...

Ms. Margo Rosen - the point I was making is that if the federal gov. can openly steal my business, my real estate, my bank account, effectively putting me out of business, because I just so happened to report CORPORATE TAX FRAUD ... then the system is only protecting the thieves and punishing/silencing the innocent, using as they did a contrived "sham" (your words actually) trial. So explain to me Margo why Jackie Speier's office is refusing to even acknowledge my complaint??

My complaint went nowhere... BIG WASTE OF TIME...just more cover for the criminals that run this nation.

BTW, for those surprised that those in Congress (BOTH AISLES) boo one another, get a clue. It's nothing compared to the Congress' of yesteryear, and if you want to see where it all started, look at the British Parliament. Compared to them, we know nothing about how to boo and jeer. They do it every day with regularity. Just part of the process.

The Mercury News article made it sound like pandemonium, like the boos just went on and on and got louder and louder. That was hardly the case here. Speier used her swearing in ceremony as a partisan political platform, and most Republicans held their peace. Those that didn't did not boo without a cause. If a Republican sworn in had launched into a tirade about no surrender in Iraq, s/he would have been soundly booed by the other aisle -- and I wouldn't have been surprised by that either.

I would think in free societies, sovereign peoples would have the right to grow/evolve in their own way, and in their own time. The Mid East have traditions that go back over 10,000 years.

What is wrong with us setting the best example of civilization that we can?

And yes, we track down, and try, and make sure justice is done to the actual criminals of 911, but that is special forces mission! It is a police issue to find the presumed guilty, and, if possible, hold for public trial.
