New Boa and Ball Python

@chicagocubs2124 Most people I know use a 2ft h x 2ft d x 4ft w enclosure for their boas, but this is usually for people who own more than 1. I've seen some extravagant enclosures that had very large dimensions, but the 2x2x4 dimensions will suit a full grown boa just fine. My boa in this video is actually in a 2x2.5x4 enclosure and she is now over 6ft long.

@ballpythonlover13 The bags are made of cloth which allows oxygen in the bag. I wouldn't recommend they stay in there for extended periods of time, but 24 hoursish doesn't hurt them none. She is a whole lot bigger now.

Mine is about a year and a half old, and it is around 5 ft in length. She is incredibly tame too. She has never shown any signs of aggression. I'll make another vid soon showing how much she has grown.

yea thanks i would like that to see sizes, mines a rescue boa and about 9 months old. the last owners didnt have her in any of the right condisions and neva held her so shes still a bit bitey

Hi how old does a central american boa have to be to breed. i have one that is about 3.5 feet , 4 feet. is she breedable at 3 years old. i think not but my friend tells me she is i dont think so tho

I'm not all that sure about central american boas. Mine is a BCI Columbian. Mine is about 5 ft now, and she isn't quite ready to breed. A general rule I have heard is 14 pounds, but if it is a smaller breed of boa that could be different. I would check some boa forums and what not.

Well size wise the ball python is still prettty small, I'de say around 2 ft, and the boa is between 4 and 6 feet now. I'm not too sure because I haven't measure. Cost wise I paid a little over 150 for both shipped.

I handled mine for a few minutes after I got them to check them for any kind of problem (which you should do). Then I put them in their enclosures for 4-7 days before I handled them again. That gives them time to adjust to their new environment. After that handle them whenever you want.

That's not a bad price at all if you are buying from a breeders' site. If you can make it to a reptile show you can get a normal a little cheaper, but getting from a reputable breeder for 45 is a really good deal.

The bags actually let enough air in for a short amount of time. They shipped about mid day one day, and the next morning I got the snakes before 10am.
