  • Freakin awsome!

  • @nikwalnikwal thanks :-)

  • How are the v-machine, bcr and the keyboard connected? Are you using the usb for midi between the bcr and v-machine, and a standard midi cable from the keyboard to the midi-in on the v-machine?

  • Yes, exactly :-) It's even possible to additionally connect a second MIDI keyboard by usb at the same time (into the second usb socket), and play on both, while tweaking knobs on bcr - crazy, isn't it? ;-) and it works just perfectly - no drivers, nothing - just plug in and start playing; really great

  • hoo and also do your need the behringer controller for this to work or you can use any other MIDI controller.. thx again

  • No, you can use any controller of course. The Behringer has the advantage that it offers endless rotary controls with LED rings that allow for MIDI feedback, which means the controls always are in the position of the current patch (so no jumps). There are also other devices that offer this, like the Mackie control PRO, or Novation Nocturne. But you also just can use the built in controls of your MIDI keyboard to tweak parameters.

  • So, what is the V-Machine? its a sound module made my sonic project? or its a sampler tu put your sample template? can you explain my friend :) thx

    Nice video!!

  • It's a hardware VST player made by the Australian company SM Pro Audio. It's basically a specialiced computer that can load and play VST plugins, but feels and works like a common sound module with built in MIDI inputs, audio & headphone outs, as well as USB connectors for contriollers, USB MIDi keyboards and dongles. Since VST plugins can do many things including VA synthesis or sampling, there are no limits concerning functionality, exept the CPU load. VM Bundle is custom made for it.

  • can the BCR2000 control other vst plugins like the ni b4 ii when on the v-machine?

  • Yes, of course; the V-Machine is able to learn any external controller to any parameter of any plugin - the cool thing in the VM Bundle is that this already has been done for all 83 parameters, with a custom sysex preset for BCR that matches this mapping (with printable templates)

  • @sigfurt

    Of course.
