If you compare touches, The amount of times Deion had the ball in his hand compared to Bo the highlights are pretty even. Deion scored 23 TD’s, Bo scored 18 TD’s(Bo had est of 550 touches)… Im not sure on Deion’s amount; but Im pretty sure its less than that. but take into consideration Deion starting position was on defense not offense.

Jerry Rice “GOAT” and Deion best all around athlete.
No athlete is perfect; everyone has their strong points and weak points. Deion didn't tackle, but he did everything else. It's like saying Tom Brady is slow, but it doesn't matter when he can drop back and zipline it to a receiver. Same with Deion, his tackling ability means nothing if he can jump a pass, pick it off, and return it for a touchdown.

If you pay close attention, I noticed one of the cuts at 8:00. I saw most of the speech on tv. He said something like " i wanna thank my wife because i know its hard to put up with me." But in my opinion even if Bo would have had a longer career, Deion still is a better athlete, because Deion did more for the football team by playing Offense and Defense plus returner. Bo was just a good running back. Deion is more versatile (23 TD’s 6 diff ways). If Bo played Safety or Outside LB plus special teams then u have an argument.

He was the only player to be named to the MLB all star game and the pro bowl in the same year, while playing a shortened season in the NFL. On top of that I personally believe that Bo Jackson's highlights in his brief playing period outshine Deions. They are both phenomenal players and deserve every accolade they have recieved.

@jjb7089 As far as the Highlights, Deion is a CB its hard to be a CB and have dynamic highlights; but Deion still provided fans with amazing plays. If you compare touches, The amount of times Deion had the ball in his hand compared to Bo the highlights are pretty even. Deion scored 23 TD’s, Bo scored 18 TD’s(Bo had est of 550 touches)… Im not sure on Deion’s amount; but Im pretty sure its less than that. but take into consideration Deion starting position was on defense not offense.

Deion had 502 touches for 7823 yards and 22 touchdowns. while removing other top players from the game (IE jerry rice, Michael Irvin, ETC). he also lead the majors in stolen bases and triples.

Im not saying CJ was a better athlete than Bo; but im saying the RB position is full of talent present and past, it’s hard to say Bo would have been the best is he played a full career, because u can easily argue the point. Im a BIG Deion fan and you can arguably say Rod Woodson is better a CB(playing devils advocate). Deion just did so much at different positions making him a great athlete. Jerry Rice “GOAT” and Deion best all around athlete.

No athlete is perfect; everyone has their strong points and weak points. Deion didn't tackle, but he did everything else. It's like saying Tom Brady is slow, but it doesn't matter when he can drop back and zipline it to a receiver. Same with Deion, his tackling ability means nothing if he can jump a pass, pick it off, and return it for a touchdown.
