There is a rumor that Street Fighter 4 was going to be released with a collectors edition as well, which would come with a game pad made for this game, but I dont think that is going to happen anymore :(

I have a Saitek Rumble Force.

The rumble doesnt even work in any games, but it is a very goo game pad, I use it to play Grid, Prince of Persia, Sonic and any other fighting / racing / platform games on the PC.

I use keyboard + mouse for straegy / RPG and FPS games of course :p

There is also a Saitek Cyborg Rumble Pad for Xbox 360 and PC available for just £15 at most places.

to all of you wondering which controller to use.you can get a usb dongle for ps2 controllers and sticks. they've been available since 2001. i use the street fighter anniversary stick for my pc. you can use xarcade, MAS,and any of the hori sticks, or xbox 360 sticks.

Its about time they get with it. Even cheap LCDs are automatically high res. It doesn't matter how hi tech the xbox is if your on a a horrible family TV.

They take the hit from pirates but its not about the nerds. We wouldn't pay either way. Its about the parents. Would you rather your kids play street fighter (nostalgia counts for something) or Dead Space (a game known for ripping off body parts and brutal deaths)?

They are trying to open up the game market.

And I don't see why SF4 would fail on the PC... all-in-all it will offer better graphics, better sound and allow to be smoother running. Plus with gamepads your not forced to use a keyboard/mouse. The only thing the game might lack is multiplayer support for being able to play 2 players on the same screen if you know what I mean, but it'll most likely offer online support. Sadly many PC games are lacking in good console style multiplayer. Other than that it will dominate the console version.

actually there is a game called MUGEN. It is a good practive run for a game such as this. Also there might be DLC and Dan Hibiki will be there. So its a great game regardless.

This won't fail at all. The base of MAME/2DF/GGPO/Mugen players with gamepads/joysticks already on PC is pretty large. People act like no one who has a PC has a usb gamepad or even likes fighting games. Yeah right!

this is such a game don't expect to out perform arcade/pad players with keyboard unless your a macro sploiter.

well i am both and i find arcade games are best played via pad i never found keyboard worth using for game like Tombraider, Metalgear 2 & other console ports. I admit i'm not fond of Sticks i am a Pad player and i always played Mame games on a pad including streetfighter games. but it's personal prefrence and i find it to be optimal for my play style not the keyboard.

though i play keyboard/mouse games more offen then the later.

The arcade system that runs SF4 is a PC, so the PC requirements will pretty much be the same, it doesn't take a powerhouse.

Yeah I know this trailer isn't specifically for the PC version, but there definitely will be a PC version of SF IV. Capcom has been (and will be) releasing more and more games on the PC platform (Lost Planet, Devil May Cry 4, Resident Evil 4) and the same will be the case for SF IV. You can look it up on Google and here in the Netherlands the PC version of the game can already be pre-ordered.

Dude, just download PS2 emulators. It's looks great, the same as on the console and relatively easy keyboard configurations to which you could change and customize yourself. Need a fast PC for the Tekken emulatons to work. Up tekken 4 is available right now, 5 is coming soon.

I'm shocked that this is coming to PC. I was ready to wait years for an xbox 360 emulator to get this on my PC. As for Tekken. I have Tekken 3 and 4 roms on my PC but to get an official Tekken game on there........that's pushin' it. Dream on. It's not even Microsoft. But no fear, in a few years a rom version of Tekken 5 would appear and eventually Tekken 6. It's nature's way.
