I love FMA battles. Cuz they're not 5 minute long and extra boring. All the good parts are about a minute long and fast paced and stuff, so you don't have to make an inference and have moments where someone stares at a move before it gets close to them, but still gets hit somehow

For everyone wondering why Pride can smell Al, metal -does- have a smell. Especially when it's being pierced and struck and whatnot, I can almost remember the smell of copper, so I imagine with super scent it's easier to detect and pinpoint.

@MegaMintyMe That's odd, I read the manga but didn't watch all of brotherhood, and in the manga he cuts off Al's foot. I think what must have happened was they were trying to base the scene off of how it was in the manga even though just before that they changed it giving it an inconsistency. I hope that cleared things up.

Heinkel convinces him to use the philosopher's stone to fix his legs and fight Pride. That's why Pride throws Al's feet at him.
