Regarding the Vietnam war, didn't we go a little TOO far, and pushed into china? Then they sent their troops at us and we had to pull back. Vietnam didn't win the war, china did.

The Mexican-American war ended with American forces winning but it paved the way for the Civil War. The US Constitution lost that war. (read up on the Wilmot Proviso). Vietnam. Afghanistan. The american goverment told their troops that they werent allowed to cross the borders of Laos and Cambodia to pursue enemy combatants not North Vietnam. Without going into a whole rant here....the Vietnam war was never meant to be won just sustained as long as possible. Superior technology, all of saddam's equipment was old as hell. Plus the terrain was a flat desert giving all the edge to the one who had better technology, thus able to shoort further. If the terrain was uneven and had valleys and forests and shit it would not have been so easy.

They had one of the largest military forces in the world and they definately had many more troops than us, thus making us the kid with cancer. If, that is the case, then kids with cancer kick ass and now we know what they truly mean by "keep on fighting".

@dadecountyhustler305, Well U.S army had to withdraw from vietnam, also korean war was lost when china decided they wanted to play too. As to why U.S military won saddam's troop so fast? Superior technology, all of saddam's equipment was old as hell. Plus the terrain was a flat desert giving all the edge to the one who had better technology, thus able to shoort further. If the terrain was uneven and had valleys and forests and shit it would not have been so easy.

Canada, UK, Australian, India and that is about it. Korean war ended with a agreement. The troops from both sides were literally 100's of yards from each other but was ordered to stop shooting. They basically stared at each other for 3 days then turned and walked away.
