  • Incidentally, the two writers who conceived this teleplay, Weinstock & Gilbert, later wrote most of the "HOWDY DOODY' scripts from 1955 through the end of the series in 1960- and later co-wrote the book for the successful 1961 Broadway musical (and '67 movie) based on Sheperd Mead's "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying"...

  • Thanks for posting. I very much enjoyed it, but I was wrong when I started watching segment 1, and guessed that his wife was going to sneak into the basement and smash his time machine while he was back in the past.
