  • Don Ameche's voice is similar to William Shatner's at times.

  • I'd never seen this film before and I found it to be so compelling that I watched all 6 parts. Fell in love with it immediately. It's well written, acted, and directed. Well done all around. Sorry that Susan Gordon is gone.

The music score by Robert Drasnin is outstanding. The music really makes the great scene at 11:22 all the more startling, overwhelming,& frightening. The viewer is forced to share in her psychological horror.Pure Hell.

  • Thanks for posting...

  • Better than all the crap they pass a s horror nowdays...

  • ..hee hee..wow...a casket lullaby...makes her all the more creepier..

  • family ISSUES. Big time.

  • I was really young when I saw this movie and by today's standards it's incredibly cheesey. But back when I first saw it, this movie was terrifying. There are a few images that stand out in my mind: the song "the worms crawl in" song......when the daughter scratches the painting and it bleeds..and when the picture kind of melts. I don't think I ever fully recovered from these images!

  • @parisiangypsy63 yes - by the standards back then it was very cheesy too. It was just a low budget programmer churned out by a major studio - trying cash in on the whole "Psycho" and "Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte" angle. I remember finding it creepy when I was a kid too. But I guess that's the beauty of being a kid:)

  • little crazy cute child....I love this movie
