Hi mate!, no, not at all. you get about 8-10mins flight time. go online and check rcgroups(dot)com and do a search on aero soarer mods!

I saw all the threads on how to mod it but if i have a 30 mah lithium polymer batt and attach it to the capacitator circuiting is it possible to charge when its in the plane with the stock controllers charger?

sotiri04,  Palm-Z is heavier but has a longer range and theres no ned to mod the electrics. You'll have more flight time on the palm-z than the aero soarer. you can make the palm-z fly slower by increasing the camber on the upper wing. Merry X-mas!

I just modded one of my aero soarers with a 50mah lipo and now it flys too fast! I'm going to have to do some experimenting with tweaking the wings to slow it down/ make it more maneuverable. It seems that your mods are quite succesful given the apparent freedom you have to fly in your abode. I'm guessing you had quite a bit of practice prior to this shoot. :-)

Scott, Sorry for thelate reply. I had several attempts before posting this video. Personally 50mah lipo is too heavy. your better off using a 20 or 30mah lipo. I would invest in getting a Palm-Z instead. theres no need to mod the electrics and it has a longer range. Merry X-mas!!!

The plane uses a Capacitor in stock form. That's why flight times are so short.
