The Diamondback Motorcycle Ride Near the Blue Ridge Parkway

My wife can't do long days in the saddle(150-200 mi. tops). So our plan is to have her drive the car loaded with car camping creature comforts, i follow on the bike, set up a base camp of sorts @ a nice campground, & then do 4-5 daystrips from there. Kinda like a Shamrock Tour in RoadRunner magazine! I can't wait-never been able to tour with my wife before & I want to share my love affair with roadtrips with her!

Two years ago we were recommended to take this route by some Ohio riders. We were planning on riding RT226 North just to get us closer to home and we would have went right by it if not for the tip. What an awesome ride!!
