  • wow, chickens need to have revenge on us all. Btw, I just had chicken rice and beans for dinner.

  • I love how human beings are the only omnivores and meat eaters that actually give a shit about the animal they eat. Actually spending energy to make the killing process nicer. Have you ever seen a hyena eat? Enough said.

  • just wondering...where do those chicken heads go?

  • @TimLugia They are further processed with the other organic waste in a rendering plant. There all organic waste is reduced to meal and tallow/fat.

  • Yummy!

It's kind of beautiful to watch the inginueity humans have added to the process. The Vangelis helps too!

  • how do they kill em

  • @dancingbrave24 The poultry first passes through a watter bath stunner. After this stunning the neck is guided between rails where they are automaticaly killed by a round rotating knife.

  • damn rowel, that's some mighty efficient and clean annihilation! that degibleter is impressive. although, i do wonder what your daydreams are like before falling asleep. chicken is massive over injected in the UK. it can be almost half water to "keep it succulent". that white scum that looks like penis cheese when you boil it is some protein component washing out with the injected water. don't like it? buy a whole chicken and cut it up, lazy. then boil the carcass for soup stock.

  • @KronikalAnoshmo Hmm, Mc Donalds is one of the companies in the world with one of the highest food standards. Cattle meat is prime meat from the front halves of the cattle so that it can even pass for Kosher meat. Admittedly it is all processed meat, but the meats they start with are always top quality prime cuts of meat.

  • @Rowel81 i think you forgot to mention that McDonalds meat is also primarily used from dairy cows which were sent to slaughter: therefore, the cuts are called "prime" if mcdonalds wants, but really, its shit meat that's ground up with additives. All dairy cows and layer hens end up in fast food chains, for the most part. Also, KOSHER implies a specific diet, handling, and slaughter of the animal: factory farming is not Kosher at all.

  • @43Coda Yup, all ground up meat. That's also why dairy cows in the slaughter house are usually called "sausage cows". In the end they still use the best parts of those cows and that's why they can call it "prime cuts" as that only refers to the location on the animal it comes from.

Regarding what is and what isn't Kosher. As always (the same with Halal) there are different groups and opinions. I know almost of as much different ways Kosher and Halal slaughter as I know Jewish and Muslim people.

  • If one person is unkind to an animal it is considered to be

cruelty, but where a lot of people are unkind to animals,

especially in the name of commerce, the cruelty is condoned

and, once large sums of money are at stake, will be defended

to the last by otherwise intelligent people.

  • chicken thinks he on a roller coaster ride

  • ...... that was so freeking beautiful...... i cried a little.... how the hell did we do this before machines!!! this is getting posted on my facebook. i work at kfc and was always curious how this happens thank you uploader you are awsome.

  • after working in the food industry, and seeing chickens come in boxes like that, even as clean as this facility is, chicken is still such a dirty animal raw

  • I've conducted an audit on one of these processing plants and the smell........omg the smell is horrendous. I've never smelt anything so bad as that.

  • @manfriday76 Chicken farms still smell worse in my opinion, the amonia is even thicker there...

  • Thats one hell of a machine.

  • YAY CHICKEN WINGS FOR EVERYONE!!!!!

  • Ingenious, especially the gutting part

  • Scald tank is too high. Look at the breast at 6:21

  • It's like something out of Hellraiser...

  • I suppose it is quick, clean and efficient and provides plenty to keep up with demand. Time was that chicken was more expensive and it was more of a treat or for once a week or special occasions.

  • poultry may contain up to 17% solution

  • Your fucking right. This italian grocery store that just opened up had these huge chicken thighs and breasts, and when you cook them the whole pots full of juice that I think is water they injected in the chicken, fucking bullshit!!!

  • @TheBestGuitarSoloEVR It's right a lot of chicken meat gets injected with brine. However, in Europe we have almost the strictest rules regarding the percentage of brine that can be injected. In regions like Russia, the US and South America this isn't regulated as well (similar to antibiotics etc.) which causes a lot more "inflated" products to be available in the market.

  • Beautiful

  • yup im never eating factory chicken again o0

  • This movie was pretty good. The music that matches it is actually kind of funny. Its like the chickens one last stand against getting killed. But they stand no chance. Must eat more wings!

  • i love chicken

  • now thats one hell of a factory, im impressed

  • I would like some chicken with rice please.

  • Rowel, that is a shit-ton of bird. Amazing.

    (Bacon is better though)

  • how could match this kind of movie with such background music....

  • So when in this process are they actually killed? I can't see when they are killed. Is it when they are being hung upside down???

  • At 1:52 you see the poultry moving into the stunner. Making the actual cut is not visible in this film, however you see the poultry moving across the bleeding trough at approx. 2:00.

  • Cool i like chicken

  • Crazy syncronization with those machines

    jesus saves

  • poor poor chickens

  • More KFC lol
