First for all the 500 were the REAL first city-car in the world.
Second, lots of tuned version of 500 were made (not only Abarth and Giannini).
Third, if americans are FAT, STUPID IDIOTS it's not guilty of Italians that they can fit into a Nuova 500. Eat less McDonald and do more sport!
Fourth, FIAT Nuova 500 got a rank of 5/5 stars from the EuroNCAP.

Fiat 500 in communist countries? It's quite impossible.
Italy don't have oil, medioeval streets are rather tight, so build a Hammer in Italy is simply stupid. We need tiny cheap cars.
Or a Ferrari if you are rich enough.
American cars was great, but you're now in lack of oil, build more fuel efficent cars is your interest now.
