i had these procedures done. i am glad i was knocked out. it sure does not look real hi- tech. you might as well take a hammer and nail to your knee. that is all they are doing. then use a dremel tool to smooth it out. 6-8 weeks of crutches and tons of rehab. results? questionable.
This is a very intersting procedure. If I didn't have insurance, I would definitely consider "outsourcing" my knee surgery! I recently saw a documentary program about more Americans going to India to have their procedures done for less cost in as-good, or better facilities then found in the US.
So this is what I have to look forward to on Tuesday. Hope rehab isnt to long
