Actually, the graphic technology in this game is quite decent. It's the textures, expecially the background textures that suck. I wonder why they bothered to use low-res textures. The engine of this game is a much more improved version of the doom 3 engine, but the graphics look pretty bad compared to games such as Doom3, Quake 4 and Prey....

Play the demo? Performance will be a little bit better in the full retail, and also some values will differ, due to patches. And don´t expect BF or Quake, this is the successor to Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.

1. You tubes quality isn't the best so thats y the graphics look bad.

The first thing I'm doing in a multiplayer game is tweaking the graphics as simple and fast as possible. Great graphics just distract you from the important stuff and slow the game so could not care less about that.

The Fact is people forget WHY they play games for example BF: Bad Company a friend of mine was all excited that it "breaks the fourth wall" and thats something Ea keeps saying about the game. breaking the fourth wall is saying the game talks to the user directly so dose that make the first black and white the next big game? no althoi would still play (and do sometimes) play black and white over alot of Ea's Cash Cow games

Well Truth be told Graphicas are becomeing less of a factor in games. Id honestly play a game that was fun and wasnt just another carbon copy than yet another halo with better graphics. I have a Xbox 360 a pc that makes a PS3 look like an Atari 400 and i have a Nintendo Wii and the best of them all is the Wii. The graphics on the Wii are terrible but i love Raving Rabits and Trauma Center way more than when i played Halo 3 Beta

Maybe it's just not available in the beta? Who knows? But IMO, it just doesn't seem like one of those games where VOIP is really needed, to me it looks like the Unreal Tournament games, and that didn't really need VOIP.

No VOIP is a horrible reason not to get a game...that's what Ventrilo is for.

Ventrilo is no use for pubbers like me. In a public server, filled with strangers, how will Ventrilo or TeamSpeak be configured? No way, VOIP is way better if you play as a pubber against or with strangers. I guess Ventrilo and TeamSpeak are better for clans.

What you can do is have a public vent server and advertise it on forums or servers. Still, I think no VIOP is a bad reason not tog et a game.

TWi7CHY mabye you dont or do know this but quake wars uses mega-textures and every thing in the game is literally bumped-mapped...it is not over-used its the first of its kind..

You have to choose a different aspect ratio, cycle through until you get to LCD (or whatever it's called). 1280*1024 is in that setting.

The engine for this game has been overused - whether it's tweaked and modded to be "different", the feeling is still the same. I want to see REAL next-gen games!
