hey man, there's a nice chord substitution you can play on the Bb in the verse. For some variation play Bb7(b9 b11 b13)

left hand: Bb - F (or Bb octaves)

right hand: Ab - B - D - Gb

another one that's even further out is playing GMaj7 (G - B - D - Gb) over the Bb roots. This one works well when the preceding Fm7 chord is extended out to the 9th (F - Ab - C - Eb - G). Then it becomes a matter of just moving every note down a half step to arrive at the GMaj7.

Thanks for this tutorial. I was able to do the whole thing, but I dont have my own keyboard so I never have enough time to really work it out. Also, pretty cool that you can lay down a G* Maj7 chord like that and knock on that last note with your pinky! My pinky doesnt even come close to makin that stretch.

Great tutorial man, however in a certain spot I think started around the 2:50 time range, you hit a few notes and said it sound ugly which I must agree because that run wasn't the right notes or should I say complete notes that takes care of those "UGLY" notes lol. No Disrespect intended but Try these notes, might help you out a lil as well as others tryin to learn.
