ive always liked brandon, but then again i listened to yesterday's rising, and i hope that someday their guitarist might join them, as he was awesome too, this is the first time ive listened to this album......because i never like craig owens or chiodos, only his girlfriend, she was a nice lady when i met her.

On the other hand brandon has always been an awesome dude and i hope that he can someday drum up the old yr stuff that was never released by their record company

I prefer Brandon over Craig for Chiodos. I know I'm going to get so much hate from die hard fans but let me explain something: I'm a HUGE Craig Owens fan. I just think that Brandon's voice meshes with the type of music that Chiodos makes much better than Craig's. And I think Craig's voice is better suited for DRUGS. I'm huge fans of both bands, and I love where they're going recently.

As an older Chiodos/Craig Owens fan myself, I don't think this is an issue about singers but rather about the NAME. Whenever a band changes a key part of the line-up, ESPECIALLY the vocalist, they are no longer the same band. They should seriously re-name the band because now it's a whole different sound. I mean, Sublime without Bradley Nowell is NOT FUCKING SUBLIME, right?? And Chiodos without Craig should not be Chiodos.

They have actually surprised me by keeping their sound alive and not selling out like The used, Story of the year and many more.

I still go back and listen to everything, Chiodos, Silverstein, Senses Fail, The Used, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Story of the Year, etc. At least half those bands made an album in the last few years. This genre of music will never die, as long as the fans keep listening and the bands keep making music.

Illuminaudio was SUCH a good album. I disagree fully that Craig Owens defined them, by the way. I think Hale's eccentric guitar and Bell's keys were the defining sounds. I disagree fully with HOW they got rid of Craig, though. But overall, this is tied with Bone Palace as my favorite album. They have matured so much as musicians, and rocked hard on every song this album consisted of. Gorgeous.
