I would've just said this is the major difference between the hobby rc car and the walmart brand rc car lol. This my first time seeing this. So I dont know who this guy is or anything like that. Hate that he died though. The first real cool RC i had was called the flashtron 2. My mom got it for me years ago on christmas. That thing was quick. It had shocks on it just like the hobby rc cars did. It may not have been as perfect as the hobby rc but it was cool. Now I'm in the real RC world^_^

uhhhh i got a traxxas slash its fun to race and the hop ups are the same as the stampede but im a loose dirt oval guy and i love my CW late model but for off road slash e revo but its a little pricey emaxx is pretty good but slower and a little opsolete compared ot the e revo i started running oval with a duratrax evader buggy with a latemodel body on it losi stadium trucks are pretty good

Yes, they have breaks of course. If the esc can do forward, reverse, and brake, it does. You can also program some to or not to have them.
