THIS is SO much better than TCWs! No wussy padawan, over witty obi-wan, no snappy anakin, and most of all, no cowboy hat bounty hunter with a multi-tool wristwatch!
this series produced some nice characters and scenes, but it was too overpowered and lacked attention to canon fighting styles. The clones are well represented, but the Jedi, Grevious, and other bosses are jumping hundreds of stories in a single bound, stopping blaster rounds with the force...Its almost laughable. However, if you blend the stories and menace of this series with the movies or cgi series, you'd have a rather intriguing star wars series
@mistahchaz it like this cause they were only planning on filling you in on what happened in between 2&3. if they got the green light for a complete indefinite series it would be more laid out and neat.

damnit Badass Durge Badass Grievous..Serious gritty Jedi...This is everything star wars is supposed to be...I swear this show is better than some of the movies and that horrible CGI shit on CN now..
the animation is wooden and doesn't make me identify with the characters at all. There's no emotion on their faces. The dialogue is god-awful and stagnant. Plots are so-so. Nobody dies or even seems to get hurt, therefore no real emotion. Asoka makes me want to strangle her. And the clones were more likeable when they didn't talk so much. I can probably think of more, but is this enough?

The CGI stuff SUCKS!!!!!! Genndy Tartakovsky please save The Clone Wars Your our only hope. What i'm confused about is how general greivous was able to defeat Durge and Ventress at the same time. Don't get me wrong I would definetly want him to win he's my favorite character, I just dont see what he could have done to win.
It's funny how this series, and the Clone Wars in general depict the military tactics of this era. They resemble methods used in 18th century (on Earth). I.E. large regiments of infantry moving in concert supported by artillery pieces. Oddly, this is only in large scale battles.
He's pretty awesome... Until you realize that most of his species, the Gen'Dai do what he does. S'part of his genetic code, so there's nothing special about him other than the fact that he exploits his near-invulnerability. :P
6:25 This actually brings up a relevant subject. Every time bankers do something wrong in anyway and gets in trouble with justice or in this case a Jedi, he does this. Its fascinating what bankers think they can do. If I were Obi-Wan, I would have killed him. If you were "merely a banker" you wouldn't have caused an enormous battle.

@Gunner0613 Actually, sometime between episodes 4 and 5, Imperial scientists were given "project Durge", a specimen seemingly beyond repair. The scientists noted that after initial organ and limb work, the specimen recovered incredibly fast. The scientists were unable to restore it to its completely original form, and had to leave it in a suit of armor. It broke out of the facility and began to collect bounties. It hasn't been seen since.

honestly i wish durge just killed kenobi i mean he lost his saber and got eaten u cant do that bullshit he did to explode him with the force.
if you could why the fuck are they even fighting each other with lightsabers it should be who explodes who first.
and since when do they block bullets with the force, im not against people like anakin(vadar), the emperor and revan ect doing that amazing stuff but obi-wan cmon.

@feverfam5 Clones can't be shown dying since they're human. Thats why it came on later but was still shown on cartoon network.

@Gunner0613 Actually, sometime between episodes 4 and 5, Imperial scientists were given "project Durge", a specimen seemingly beyond repair. The scientists noted that after initial organ and limb work, the specimen recovered incredibly fast. The scientists were unable to restore it to its completely original form, and had to leave it in a suit of armor. It broke out of the facility and began to collect bounties. It hasn't been seen since.
