We should be cautions about gravitating toward the law as a solution to this problem. Educating children about using technology is a much better solution. The law is black and white there is usually little discretion, once the elements of a "crime" are proven there can be very sever life altering repercussions. There was more going on than just that picture getting around. EVeryone I know has risky/dirty pictures of themselves out there. It's just the way it is these days. It doesnt matter, not to most of us. The only way I know to help your kid not have a picture, is dont give them a cel phone with a camera, or a digital camera. Try paying attention to what your kid does, so you dont end up on tv later on talking about it, wishing things were different.
It's not just not giving it to them. Their BOUND to get a hold of something somehow.
Sit down, have a nice chit-chat with them and give a dose of reality instead of loose behavior is acceptable, which seems many parents are going for nowadays. Loose behavior can cost lives and reputations, like this young woman unfortunately.

There was more going on than just that picture getting around. EVeryone I know has risky/dirty pictures of themselves out there. It's just the way it is these days. It doesnt matter, not to most of us. The only way I know to help your kid not have a picture, is dont give them a cel phone with a camera, or a digital camera. Try paying attention to what your kid does, so you dont end up on tv later on talking about it, wishing things were different.
