You don't even need the app. I got the symbols from my settings.

Go to settings- keyboard-international keyboard-add new keyboard- emoji :)

For iTouch 3G+ , Go on international keyboards, and there's a keyboard called emoji, use that keyboard, don't use japanese because nothing will happen, after turning on emoji keyboard, reboot your device and it should work:)

Dont install this If you have a IPOD go to settings and click on general and go to international and search keyboards click on add keyboard and add EMOJI now click on the world icon to activate it the icon is in your keyboard

Emojis were originally for people who used the Japanese keyboards, that's why.

Well sorry that was a long rant. I hope you try what I said though. I knew this before I knew that there were apps to enable it. Just don't fall for it.

Okay everyone needs to get something strait. YOU DON'T NEED ANY APP FOR EMOJIS! All you have to do is leave the Japanese keyboards on long enough. I know because when I added them a while back I saw that emoji was enabled on it's own. People are trying to make money off of something that is already in your iPod/iPhone. And yes, I know that this is a free app. But you don't even need it! Just leave both the Japanese keyboards on for about 2 days or so, and it will automatically enable. Emojis we
