i dont know how they could work out what classes get PVP legendaries when but i think a good way to aquire them could be to have a list of side goals to do in each battle ground after completion of each you talk to some warmaster who gives you the legendary... example could be say in WSG the legendary objective could be to have the enemy flag, grab the beserker buff and rape the EFC and cap the flag before you die or the enemy grabs the flag again, if they grab it again you need to start over

Then their is the problem with, you can't get 2400+ arena rating, without having this "legendary" and as soon as you do have, it your unstoppable. pvp is more for skill, rather then gear. ofc it helps to be the broken class with the right gear.

as far as benching people go. a good way to deal with it, is to ask for volunteers. people are generally happy to say 'i dont need this boss, i'll sit', if it means they can be in for a particular boss that they do want.

The thing about implimenting it into a storyline/questchain is that then it becomes a PvE legendary, the only way you could do it with PvP is if you basicly say, get X amount of kills/ X amount of wins

Lore, you're completely wrong on the crafting items. I had people from top server guilds to random blue geared alts paying me to craft 397 boes for them, and their guild. I must have made easily over 25 on my low pop server.

I support the option of "Guild Bound" but not the same way, i think that the one who gets it should have an option anywhere in-time to give the legendary to the guild, like an npc that's makes it guild bound in case of "leaving" or some kind...

The reason the t13 set bonus is so powerful is because in BC they learnt that people will wear the old tier if it's better and obviously that's not good, so it's become a thing that the last set bonus of the expansion is just amazing. The problem now is that the set bonus is so strong on it's own and so accessible in LFR that you ignore the other stats on the gear, so they would have to have slightly weaker bonuses from LFR sets.

I think they fixed the problem about who gets the legendary this patch (only for 10 mans) cause usual you would only have 1 rouge in your 10 man raid group so its easy to choose.

crafted bracers for a holy priest are best in slot for normal t13, that can only be replaced by one piece that drops on heroic. I don't see the issue in that particular circumstance that was mentioned, if blizzard is careful about how things are placed in to the game....like LFR. Easier to farm heroic Firelands than to farm people through LFRs as things are currently. lol

I'd love 8 piece armour sets, because I absolutely hate being mismatched (as I progress through DS I find myself transmogging my new gear to FL pieces). I also fine, sometimes there isn't a belt that matches your 4 pieces or boots, and it's frusterating!!! (IE for shadow priests most of the gear they use looks like other DPS classes not priests!)

for the Guild Legendary. why not just make it so the whole guild gets it like an BOA item than can be passed to any Guild Member with a Exalted Rep status and the guild gets a limited number of legendaries like 1-2. and if the person that is currently using the Guild Legendary leaves the Item gets transferred to the guild bank.

Speaking of support classes takes me back to my days in FFXI where I was a red mage and people only wanted me to use refresh(mana regen spell) and haste but I insisted that I main heal as well. Got really good at keeping up a refresh/haste cycle and healing, but my response from the group always was, "you can heal as long as you keep refresh up or you'll be kicked"

Regarding the 3rd question. Shamans being "buff bots" in TBC, enh shamans were one of the top 3 DPS at the time, some even pumping 4k+. Resto shamans being the "Must HAVE' Class for sunwell. Shamans were not buff bots.
