2 things i learned here:1 We use inmates for marines. 2 the process of making a marine is so much more than just clicking a building and watching people pop out.

However, there were/are also significant numbers of voluntary enlisted marines as well; also, the vast majority of marines are emphatically NOT welded into their armor like this; Findlay is because he's being sent on a do-or-die mission, and the armor is rigged to kill him if he tries to get out of it, IIRC

Blizzard excels not only in making a very great game, but telling a really good story, making very enigmatic and interesting characters with character development, and GREAT cinematics. I mean c'mon... the way they built up anticipation and rewarded the viewer with a kickass soundtrack and a fitting punch line, I can see Blizzard making a VERY good movie. THe sad thing is though, to budget a film, they would appeal to a studio who would hire incompetent people to do it

Doom wasn't that bad! Especially the ending was really well done with that ego shoter part. Also don't care, that they changed the story as it wasn't THAT important in the game. I found that the Zerg are easily the race with the biggest changes, namely that it's much more difficult to effectively pull a Zergling rush with Protoss' new Chrono Boost allowing for a very quick early-game defense, and terrain advantage meaning that both other races get huge advantage at choke points and from cliffs.
