the portal gun never works for me i got the newest one that actually has the portal stuff for it but it doesnt make portals and makes strange sounds and if i walk were i placed a portal i get massive lua errors

the only bad thing about portal guns in gmod is that they just teleport, and if you go to fast in to them you hit the ground. behind the protal.

Wonder why the regualar Portal gun doesn't work right?

Because the real portal gun creates a bubble of the map and when you go into the bubble, that bubble becomes the map.

its kidna more of a teleporter then a portal since it instantly puts you in the other location unlike normal portal where you actualy go thro

why does the gravity gun look so different

its the model of a scrapped gun from the beta of half life 2, in hammer, it was called weapon_physgun. its pritty much like the phys gun in gmod.

what happens if you make a rope between a gasoline tank, and a couch. THen you throw the gasoline in the portal but not the couch?

No matter how far you toss the gasoline tank through the portal, the couch will never follow it. The reason for this is this gun is just a teleporter with pretty effects. What WILL happen is the gasoline can will appear on the other side of the portal, but the rope will zoom over to where the gassoline tank is, but NOT through the portal. due to bugs, the rope will probably strech out to the distance between the two objects. If you are reaaaally lucky, due to bugs, the couch may spazz everywhere

You mean addons? Go to garrysmod . org and you can download stuff from there.

because your saving the project. Yuo need to go to >file>save as movie file. this will make into a film, not just the order of things, letting you upload it
