  • i like this

  • That line up was the true oasis.. Fact!

  • @666rebels No McCarroll though

  • Well Done Guigsy ....

  • better than beatles

  • @rustygerbil i was and it was as good as you could imagine!!! tore music apart!!

  • Alan White didn't do bad making a whole career out of doing the same drum beat

  • @conawillvlog Neither did ringo starr or keith moon! And these are the guys who inspired me to start drumming, Alan included.

  • too good!

  • The really unique thing about this performance is that (unlike nearly all actual Oasis recordings pre-2000) you can actually hear the bass.

  • amazing vocals here

  • 18 when this came out and they were fucking amazing 94-96 *smugasfuck*

  • McCarroll suited this song better, imo!

  • Nice girls at 2:57 and great outro solo by Noel!

  • love the tamberine

  • great comment Risin!! same here

  • liam looks trashed, but its ok coz its oasis and they're amazing

  • Love it! especially at 3:24 :) oh Liam

  • For probably the only time in his life the bass player McGuigan had a great groove that could be heard, listen at 2:03! I think him and Bonehead did a great job keeping it simple, they were part of what made Oasis great.

  • Exvellent

  • And this is why I wish I was a teenager in the 90s, and not fucking 2011.

  • @RustyGerbil So true man. So much better than the crap these days.

  • @RustyGerbil

    same.......

  • @RustyGerbil I was fourteen years old and rocking out to Live Forever. Ahhh the good old days. So happy I grew up then and not during this music abyss.

  • @jgrantkerr I can remember watching this when it was broadcast. I was 16 good times and memories of this at parties walking round folks houses slugging out a bottle of Jack Daniels and walking with a swagger. The reason this is in Black & White was that just before this was shown they showed an old clio of the Hollies doing "Look through any Window". A song I now love as a result! The white room was ace.

  • @RustyGerbil ime in the exact same boat, f***ing shit musically isnt it

  • @RustyGerbil you speak for the nation

  • @RustyGerbil shame init

  • amazing voice fucking amazing!!!!!!

  • 3:24 - 3:25 did i remember to turn off the stove?

  • @liarlielielie haha quality!

  • @liarlielielie 3:26 oh never mind, if my house burns down i'll buy a bigger one

  • Best singer and frontman of all time!

  • wow, cant believe liams voice, hes so fucked up now, such a pity

  • I'd give a testicle, Lady Gaga's testicle, to have been old enough to have enjoyed this at the time. But no, I was one and have to put up with all the shit that's about now. Oh well, thank fuck for Oasis. Live Forever

  • And then, children, along came The Cowell, and murdered the fuck out of any future Brit creativity...

  • COMPLETE RAW BRITISH ROCK N ROLL

  • Standing Ovation for Oasis !

  • simply the best video on youtube

  • Ah, Oasis in 1995! Outstanding! Great tune! The announcer needs to shut his yap...

  • @Peoria3165 Shut the fuck up you tool, thats Mark Radcliffe, the guys a fucking legend. You however, with all due respect, are an ignorant nobody

  • Ah, Oasis in 1995! Outstanding! Great tune!

  • Best live version of SMS

  • Quite simply the greatest band there has ever been or ever be. No band will ever make me feel like these lads do! Rock n Roll!!!

  • liam must be the hottest man i've ever seen...jesus christ he was on fire here:)

  • wankers

  • Wow, that was brilliant.

  • Liam makes their their sound complete in my opinion! lol @ 3:24 - few too many trying to remember the next line :) Pure Class!!

  • 100% agree with SuperMojoRisin!

  • In my opinion Oasis is the best band in performing live

  • Superb. The way music should be played. RIP Music, i feel for the people who have never seen oasis. All they have is that radio 1 cack!!!!

  • Liam Gallagher is pure rock n roll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • I love this

  • Should release a dvd of this set.

  • what kind of jacket is Liam wearing here?

  • @Keiretsu i heard its kangol

  • CD音源ww

    絶好調

  • God I wish it was 1995 again...!

  • presenter fag jajajjajajjajjajjaa

  • @cristinitalos90 Thats Mark Riley, argubaly the most important figure in the early carrea of OASIS. Next time do your homework before you go spouting off verbal bile about living broadcasting legends like Mark Riley, you ignerant FUK,.!

  • @MG3AEH although i do totally agree with your point, the presenters name is actually mark radcliffe (not riley), but yea he is a top presenter and still does great work today on the radio

  • where the fuck does liam get his jackets from? he could wear a bin bag and look mega that cunt

  • These white room performances are fucking awesome.

  • Think how much they would had have achieved if the had not been so druggie.

  • What an absolute fucking twat that presenter is. Live forever!

  • And my dogs been itchin, itchin in the kitchen once again!!!

  • there the reason u got out of bed in the mornin WTF there half the reason i stayed in bed an spent 5 years of my life sellin drugs avin non stop partys gettin onit an fuckin livin life oasis the common mans band live forever mofos

  • Comment removed

  • @rarebeats77 I think Kangol man

  • I love them!

  • some might say they dont believe in heaven , OH YEH!

  • THEY'RE BACK AND THEIR SINGERS TURNED UP!

  • liam's monobrow was on fine form here

  • Best ever.

  • love that comment.....best band of the 60's!

  • best band of 60s here

  • this is fkn epic, seriously.

  • Their best music came in their early years. I regret that they are apart. Oasis forever!!

  • 2:42-2:48... just gives me creeps. still the best music comes from england, hate to live in germany, the developing country in the field of music (except of some krautrock like kraftwerk)LOL 5*

  • Amazing shots of the boys during the early years. Can't help but wonder what was so wrong with "this band?!?" I do tremendously love Andy Bell and Gem Archer, just sayin'.

  • This is a tremendous live performance! Liam is spot on. Nothing like a young band with ambition.

  • Never be a band better than them.

  • To be fair to Liam, this was an amazing performance, however, one can't help but wonder how far he would have gone without Noel's songs. Plus, it amuses me how Liam has tambourine duty just to keep his hands busy.

  • this is at their peak, all down hill from here knebworth here we come. also another good music show resigned to history.

  • @thereed1889

I like Be Here Now (no way as bad as people say) and the masterplan album.

I think they weren't as good since then.

  • no guitar solo?!!

int he intro did the host say 'and the singers turned up!' ?

  • Stunning old skool performance - Whitey, Bonehead and you ca actually hear Guigs - what's that all about???!!

  • at their best here

  • incredible performance man, i miss the 90s!! liams voice and noels solo are just unbeatable together

  • This is such a good, raw, REAL performance. It's amazing how shit Liam has become. The fact he's an untrained singer is irrelevant because since about 1998 he just stopped trying. His live performances are sub-standard and paying fans should be offended at how bad he is.

  • I think he looks like he isn't trying because his voice just isn't up to it anymore and he knows it. If he pushed it like he used to he wouldn't last three songs, so instead he pretends he just isn't bothered. That's why he never holds any notes anymore which ruins the songs. He loves being a singer but he can't sing anymore- it's gotta cut you up.

  • Is this the best version of some might say? probably

  • Why does the host keep picking on liam

  • This session , Maine Rd and maybe Manchester 97 are the best live performances for any real Oasis fan

  • They're so great here, maybe their best!!

  • un dia como hoy hace 14 años !!!!!!

  • the white room gig is top notch..

this and maine road are so fucking good

  • Nice bass playing, comon Guigsy!!

  • Great vid, Oasis at their best. Nice jacket.

  • @BergenManc Looked EVERYWHERE for one, could never find one !!!

  • @cherrypopma1 lol same i did to!!! i also looked for his parka in d'you know what i mean!!!! ive spend endless hours of my life looking for some of the stuff he wears lol

  • fuckin superb. wot great times these was for me personally. i was 18 at the time and these boys were the reason i got out of bed in the morning.

  • @SuperMojoRisin

same with me....best time ever...even in germany!!!

  • @SuperMojoRisin i was 15 mate, they were the soundtrack to me youth..Great comment..Great band ..Great tune..!

  • @SuperMojoRisin Me too, I was 16 but everything else applies.

  • @SuperMojoRisin I could kiss you on the lips for saying that. Oasis was the driving force during my puberty and was the only reason one time actually thinking about going to school. I still listen Oasis on a daily basis cause they still rule. Oasis is one of the best bands of all time IMO and I think many will agree with me.

  • @SuperMojoRisin agreed mate

  • @SuperMojoRisin

Couldn't have said it better myself!!!

  • @SuperMojoRisin U r fuck* right!!!!

  • @SuperMojoRisin

I know have 15! My biggest dream is to see Oasis live. And, still not watching them live and the band separated, their the reason why i get out of bed in the morning! MAD FER IT!

  • @SuperMojoRisin These are still the reason i get out of bed in the morning

  • there back!!!!! and the singers turned up.....lol lol .. fkn liam at his best... get it sorted boys....

  • WE'RE MAD FER IT!!!!!!!!

  • heady days for liam

  • liam`s voice is just perfect

  • Liam and Noel's voice together are like Ying and Yang

  • noel is god to me,, but he pisses me off you see,, coz i keep thinki, how the fuck does he do what he does? i mean this man is genius

  • 3:25 "fuck whats the next line" haha class

  • i think he was just high..

  • anyone have the tabs for that solo at the end? i love it :)

  • fucking just amazing,..

  • why should someone stop complaining about the miserable state of his voice? It was the best of our generation! But right now it`s embarassing..couldn`t listen to that roundhouse gig e.g...He should write songs that suit his voice instead of promoting his "clobber". He just sings the classics. It´s a good thing Noel left. Now both can do their things. But Liam should stop relaxing on classics he can not sing nomore.

  • roundhouse itunes gig was fuckin awesome. liam sounded amazin, so easy there, champ.

  • i think this period liam had his best voice..

  • great music!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Listen, we and every other fucker knows that liams voice ain't what it used to be, i just wish people would stop going on about it. Yes back then they probably were at their peak at liams voice was at its best but they still are and forever will be the best band these shores have ever seen. Would still rather go and see oasis than some of the pretenders out there the now. Lets just enjoy them while we still can. Rock and fuckin Roll

  • well said mate , oasis will live forever .

  • well said mate!

  • Somebody thinks the same as me. Thank fuck.

  • This is unbelievably amazing...

  • is it just me or noels nose look alot bigger in this video?

    anyway oasis BEST BAND evr

  • when youve got the dosh you do your teeth first then your nose see bowie

  • lol liams face u see it light up wen he remembers the words 3.25 nice spot martinmaine

  • iv got loads of money biggest rock star in the world....fuck the oven...no its off sweet

  • Class

  • post acid house post madchester totally up for it this just had to be it was inevitable

  • Everyone knows Liam's voice now is fucked but it was absolutely top class around the time of this video.

  • Agree 100% - but this was Oasis at their peak - they were new, they were exciting, they had an urgency about them that 10 years of being millionaires kind of destroys......

  • 3:25 Liam: " oh fuck. Im the best singer in the world, aren't I ?"

  • lol, i laughed my head off at his face, he was probably shitting himself cause he forgot the next line and then remembered.

  • the las t rock n roll band

  • seriously, how good is this fucking song. some might say, one of the best live tracks ever written.

  • this is f***in ROCK N ROLL!!!!!!

  • precursor to the pretty green parka

  • @rockthecasbah92

  • omg!! liams voice is amazing here! ive heard it good but not this good!

  • good days(sigh)

  • Noel was untouchable back then. Some Might Say single alone had Talk Tonight, Acquiesce and this song. The fucking single had 3 timeless songs on it lmao

  • damn

this is the best song ever

    kid you not

and Liam is the fucking man!

  • I loves this song. (:

I was the 3 month and 7 days old. .D

  • The best line-up, at this moment. I would like so much live again 90's, just for this good period of Oasis.

  • so you would go back go back to the 90's for a week and a half?

  • Without hesitating. I remember criticisms concerning music of 90' s. For many people grunge music was primitive, the britpop too poor to compete with the 'classics ' of the rock'n'roll, etc etc... When I hear the music of 2000's, I can be only nostalgic. :)

  • Yeeee man !

  • you kidding me on?

  • what are you talking about?

  • i'd go back to three days in the 90's.

    first night of knebworth.

    first night at maine road.

and one of the nights when they did the g-mex in 97, in manchester.

then i would come back to the future feeling complete.

  • My cousin took me out to the second night at Maine Road, mate. I was 11, and it is still the singular best experience of my life hands down. First time I got pissed too. No amounts of sex, drugs, new-age rocknroll, or anything will ever compare to that day. I'll still remember it in me deathbed, i've no doubt.

  • You can't imagine how i wished being there.

Was it as excellent as in the videos??

  • It was better, mate. Wish i'd been older though.
