This has happened to me on several occasions when I was younger. When I got older I got very muscular and big, and I guess kinda scary, and all of this sort of bullying on bicycles and otherwise completely stopped. You are right, they are cowards. They are looking for someone who they think they can intimidate, and can only gather the courage to try from the safety of a miniature tank. People like that will continue to harass certain folks forever, but you aren't responsible for them.
How I deal with bullying or occaisionally rude comments is to not care, if they have no direct effect in your life or you do not love them, then their opinion can rot in hell.

I suffered from bullying for a significant portion of my childhood and sucking it up and taking their shit did not make it stop. Saying that "bitching and winng" propagates bullying is victim blaming. Bullies bully to make others feel powerless. Not speaking up often shows them that their attempt to take away your power worked.

Most annoying insult ever.
As a seven/six year old I repeatedly was subjected to hearing "girls go to collage to get more knowledge, and boys go to Jupiter to get more stupider" in a very annoying, nasally voice. This was the most annoying insult ever, because besides from the fact that it was sooo sexist and I was years ahead of them intellectually, it is grammatically incorrect. "get more stupider" is obviously a phrase uttered by someone who "goes to collage". Besides, I'd take space flight

When I was a younger girl I didn't even understand that I was being bullied, I just thought there was something wrong with me and that's why my group of female friends psychologically tortured me. I suffered from bullying for a significant portion of my childhood and sucking it up and taking their shit did not make it stop. Saying that "bitching and winng" propagates bullying is victim blaming. Bullies bully to make others feel powerless. Not speaking up often shows them that their attempt to take away your power worked.
