  • Hadley Cells are also a major component of why it rains so much in most of the tropics worldwide. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, transpiration - the evaporation of water from pores in the leaves of plants - plays a huge role in the amount of rain most rain forests receive. Many scientists speculate that the Amazon basin receives more than half its precipitation from this process. Still an awesome video.... 9th grader or university student - very high quality.

  • Nice video. Seriously. I don't want to come off sounding like a dick, but you did oversimplify a bit on certain things, namely why a rainforest receives so much rain. First of all, there are far more bodies of water involved in rain forests than just the than just the Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea. The Atlantic plays a huge part in the rain forests of Africa and S. America. Numerous seas and the Indian ocean play major roles in the rain forests of Indonesia and SE Asia.

  • Thankyouu its a beautiful video:)
