Heard this years ago from DIOJACK? I think. Its better than the album version IMO; very powerful. I only got to see Dio once in 80's (Dream Evil tour with Megadeth and Savatage); a regret but at least we still have all the great music and videos.

I love the double meaning in these lyrics... on the one hand it's about the romance between Eriel and Annica in the story of Magica, and on the other hand it's about Dio's style of writing songs. He left Rainbow because he didn't want to sing about love affairs. But with the last sentence of this song, he shows what his lyrics are all about... "cause maybe it's all about love!"

sadly is not a rumour, is something confirmed for his own manager, but the good thing in all this, is that this cancer is in an early stage, so i'm sure ronnie will give a good battle. Slay the dragon ronnie!!

Ronnie is a fighter so I expect nothing less than afull recovery.

Dio and Craig Goldy - what a combo. Craig personifies the look and sound of the 80's type guitarist - so many great shredders back then. He first appeared in Guiffria I believed - and Dio - the master, words can't describe. That melodic range, pitch, etc.. set the tone and raised the bar for all vocalists. At times on some songs it almost sounds like he's harmonizing with himself - hard to explain but he simply stands out whenever you hear anything from him from any era. never replicated
