MLB® 10 The Show™ - Fielding Throw Meter

Two things they need to fix in 11. One is the throw meter. Accuracy and strength should be separate. If I throw strong to home from the outfield it is never accurate. When am I going to throw accurate to home? should be like a free-throw meter in a bball game, just quicker and based on attributes. Also add swing stick 4 hitting!

@sawink That would take too long. To do two different meters while he's throwing? He's going to have to stop his momentum, hold the ball for 2 seconds, then when you begin to throw the runner is already at home and you already pre-set so as you throw home the runner at 1st moves up the 2nd.

Go with OF who have accurate arms.

In real life, just because you have a strong, accurate arm doesn't mean you'll always make a on target throw.

@ksx1988 I agree. But just because I charge up the meter it should not be innacurate. That's the least thing that needs to be fixed. My main problem is that the SWING STICK is SO much better! Button pushing and the fact if you move the stick up it induces a fly ball? It should be like 2K ,where the pitch is is where u swing. 2K is better this year but not a great game. If THE SHOW had a swing stick it would be 10 times better and maybe better sound effects. Also get rid of the catch up logic

@sawink Why do you think that? Think about this. If you were in the OF and you throw has hard as you can at the catcher and then you throw one not as hard, which one do you think will be more accurate? Generally speaking in all facets of sports, more power = less control.

The Swing stick is all preference. You can't really say it's "better". You might like it better, but you can't really say it's better.

@ksx1988 I don't really care about the throwing meter. There should be a way to improve it. The swing stick is (yes is) better. The Show kicks 2Ks ass and then you have a plastic non sensitive BUTTON to push to swing? Very unrealistic and not thoughtful at all. Just because u love the Show and PS3 (don't know y people give a shit about an inanimate console?) (I have both) doesn't mean there is nothing wrong with it! It is almost a perfect game besides swing stick and 1080p taken away
