I honestly cannot believe all the heartless people who think that this is ok. Those are the people who make me ashamed of the human race. It's horrific and even if going vegan is a step too far for you, boycotting battery eggs and only buying free range is a good start.
i woulda killed them and stuffed them in the manure pile...yes i hate tresspassers...WE DON"T BREAK INTO YOUR HOUSE AND STEAL YOUR VEGGIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a little 2 week old hand reared chick. We rescued her form an incubator at school, she was being pecked so badly that she couldn't stand up or defend herself. At the moment shes living in a guinea pig run in our kitchen and free ranging in our garden. Im sure she would like a little friend in the future and I was wondering if any experts thought that an ex battery hen would be a good idea? Any advice much appreciated!
Harvesters and other machinery run over animals in the field and many other animals are killed every time grains are gathered and processed. But vegans never mention this! Shock!
You do of course realize that Vegan diets support the murder of countless conscious life forms regardless of the propaganda you may want us to believe you are aware of the deaths of animals for your food aren't you?
This may be true but where do you expect people who care to start? They start trying to help the most worst off animals and those are the ones that are being mistreated in massive quantity. We can't help the smaller incidences until we solve the bigger problem.

Cobwebs on the ceiling? Oh the horror! Notice how the guy holds the door open and the chickens don't run out? Must not be that bad of conditions.

This Factory Farming is a american disease that is spreading throughout the world, ugly. So ugly.

@Rocketee And you notice how there isn't a famine in America? That is ugly! America needs to be a nation of foragers, like parts of Africa.

Don't buy eggs! Stop the suffering and go vegan. It's the only thing, the best thing, that will help these "farmed" animals.

I'm a bit bored of the whole emotional do-goody vegan vibe.
This stuff is like biohazard.

there's a big difference. These chicken farmers deliberately put these hens into horrible living conditions. It's no accident, it's on purpose.
