This is such a beautiful song by Stryper. It's a great song to listen to, especially when things aren't going well, and you need a friend. Sometimes I feel depressed and alone. I know I have wonderful friends on YouTube. So that keeps me going. And I have a wonderful wife and 5 year old grandaughter.

Interesting how my likes/dislikes change over time. Back in the 90's I was into mostly heavy speed/death metal that was Christian. Was not a big Stryper fan. Now I really like them. It's great music, great harmonies, great lyrics. I'm glad I changed my tune! :)

I remember when Stryper came on the scene in the 80's. Saw them in Portland, Oregon. I would get in trouble playing them too loud when I attended Multnomah School of the Bible as the RA thought it was secular music. Stryper, Rez Band, Petra, Holy Soldier...helped me get through my teens in the 80's. I still have the original vinyls and special edition colored vinyls. Don't get me wrong..I kept my RATT, Iron Maiden, AC/DC etc at home as I didn't want those confiscated. : )

The more I listen to this song, the more I fall in love with it. The first time, I hardly understood why so many people liked it, but the more I listen to it, the more it grows on me.
