  • So eine geile stimme. wie kann man das nicht lieben?

  • omg! :D

  • ich habe eine kleine kopfschmerzen, wie niedlich.

    ich liebe sie, i love them ♥ !! 2 Cuties :D

  • .......as if they're normal accents weren't sexy enough then you add German in there and its like almost too much to handle

  • @Miserablystunning38 I KNOOOOOWWW!!!!!! X3

  • "Ich habe eine Kleine Kopferschmerzen" Haha awesome...i love the accent of them :)

    Weiter so :)

  • *LOVES the sound of German*

*Hears Dom and Billy speaking German*

    *THUD*

  • hahaha this is so funny!! :P

  • "Ich habe eine kleine Kopfschmerzen."

    Hahahaha, how cute xD

  • All I can say is when Dom and Billy speak German in the beginning is DAMN are their voices sexy. I mean they're damn sexy in the first place, but the deepness of the German is drool-worthy

  • you lazybones

  • german sucks in video-genre, Game of Thrones, Dexter, etc, English ftw!

    Greets from Dortmund ;)

  • Both are so friggin' HOT *___*

1:26 - so funny, as Billy recognizes the camera and smiles ! x33

  • @Chiilloo Billy is too funny!

  • I don't know whether people on here hate to do their research. German kids have to learn a second language from the moment they leave elementary school (some even start ealier). It's almost always english. And if you attend the Grammar school in germany you even have to pick up a third (french/latin/greek/spanish) or fourth language. If anything english speaking countries tend to be very lazy when it comes to a foreign language.

  • Yum

  • Comment removed

  • @MillyMelanie and i hate when people are so full of themselves that they expect other people to learn their language so that their beautiful voice doesn't have to be replaced by a nastier voice and language. you better keep acting in your little local soap because YOU won't get to do big movies anyway. (since they will be screened worldwide thus need voiceovers.)

  • @FrootLoopAddicted Absolutely! Finally someone who understands! =)

  • @FrootLoopAddicted Okey, Im sorry my comment didnt fit with your mood... -.- Of course I dont expect others to learn my language! And I dont know why you wrote that comment....? Im not after a fight, if thats what you mean!?

Im not letting you ruin my day, so shut it! And what do you know about me anyway?

  • Müsste er nicht eigendlich fliesend detsch sprechen können?Er ist doch Deutscher...

  • Billy spricht gut deutsch! aww...

  • ´gut das mich der übersetzer net aufregt....:)

  • ich habe in berlin geboren ist das beste ^^

  • Billys face at 0:25 is epic :D

  • "Ich habe in Berlin geboren und ich wohne in Berlin" :D

  • Ich habe eine kleine Kopfschmerzen ^^

  • "HELLOOOOOOOOO............"

  • i have all the TV shows i like on my computer with the original vioces and the german voices, so I CAN choose.

I'm not looking TV by the way, because there is only crap on the german TV

  • We have the option to watch it in Englisch OR in "our" language.

That's the advantage if your native language isn't Englisch.

  • @MrLaterne: as if tv-shows are simultaneously aired with and without subtitles. You cannot choose. That's why I love to live in Belgium where they never dub movies (except in the south but who cares about them anyway...)

  • But if he really lived in germany for 11 years how comes he just speaks broken german? i mean it's very well and i know english is his first language but for someone who grew up there? a real pity, for i would like him to be at least a little german :).

cute and funny having him talking about his brother "Matthias" :DD. his having "eine kleine kopfschmerzen" ("a little headache", actually he must have said something like "i have a little headaches" literally translated).

    anyway, like the video

  • It's so irritating that in Germany they dub everything to German. Geez.... learn to read subtitles

  • @Kajfjg

Believe it or not, but most of us Germans are indeed able to read subtitles. Still, it's much more comfortable to sometimes watch a movie without having to read all the time. Also, you miss a lot of a movies details if you constantly stare at the bottom of the screen.

As for me, I'm fairly fluent in English and therefore watch most of the American movies in their original language.

  • @Kajfjg but why not? look english people e.g. don't have to read subtitles because their's is the world language, but what if it wasn't? then they would have to read subtitles as well. i just think it's a very good idea and customizes every movie much more for the germans than if it were english. not everyone here is that good at it. and look at it this way: having movies dubbed even creates jobs, there are some very good german voice actors whose voices are famous and loved and not for nothing

  • @GamerSme I am Dutch and we have to learn English, German AND French! So don't whine about learning one more language because we have to learn THREE!!!

  • @Kajfjg so true, I am german and my sis went to America for half a year, and when she came back she told me about all of em thinking of her as a genius just because she could speak german, english, french and then a little russian, and now spanish, while they have so big troubles learning maybe ONE foreign language. i mean i love english and them but i really don't know what they complain about regarding highschool... compared to the school system i know, it's, well sorry guys, just trifles

  • I mean you can learn german, because we learn english too it´s not so bad. I mean in the english language the grammar rules are really bad. Just learn learn learn.

    THUMPS UP ! :)

Hey english-people: german isn't so difficult. Take it easy and it will be easy. try to speak chinese xDD

  • Dummkopf!

  • voll cool! Ich liebe das Video <3 Billy Boyd :D ;)

  • dom says "I have born in berlin" :D

(D: Ich habe in berlin geboren)

  • well obviously I can't enjoy dominic and billy talking here, thank you german translater -_-

  • @AmericanHistoryLover

yes, but subtitles suck, so shut up

  • @Rauschgift007 oooh....was that your intimidating attitude? You're mad aren't you? Was that supposed to scare me now? Am I supposed to cower in front of your almighty power? Haha!! You're a small little person in a great big world, I'm not afraid of you and you won't humilate me into silence you self-absorbed idoit. That may work on your spineless peers wherever you live, but I do not cower to any human being. Come back and talk to me when you grow up, and grow a heart.

  • @AmericanHistoryLover

hahaha, your comment is so stupid :D

  • @Stelmaria21 hahahaa, YOU'RE so stupid :D

  • @AmericanHistoryLover hm, nice that you start to insult me personally from the start... and you say you were grown up^^

  • oh you crack me up! You should be on television. Are you grown up for trying to shut me up through humilation? Cause that's what you're doing, sorry to blow that big secret. Grown ups don't tear each other down for difference of opinion, they RESPECT their rights. Seriously, can't you grow up? Nice try with the bullying tactic, didn't work. Why can't I say what I think? You may live in Germany, hon, and there they may dictate opinions, but I live in America. I have FREEDOM of speech.

  • @Stelmaria21 Last thing, I also close this with the comment that I have the freedom to express my beliefs whatever I may please, garunteed by our document the Bill of Rights. I don' know if you've heard of that. I don't know of you Germans have such rights, but I don't care, you do not have power over me, nor do your beliefs in silencing those who disagree. Therefore, I settle the matter this argument started over, goodday ^_^

  • @AmericanHistoryLover Wow, redneck (my opinion), please give me the line where I try to shut you up. Please reread your coment and see for yourself where you own yourself... you say you have freedom of speech but at the same time, you write 3(!) long comments why my 2 ones are bullcrap and that I have to shut up... wow!

On the other hand: good job troll, you just damaged the image of all Americans! Well done, seriously :)

  • @Stelmaria21 you're lying in that last sentence. you already looked down on me, what respect from you have I lost? You never gave me any, moron! I gave you respect though, for your opinion, but I see you're too biased to return it. And thank you for the redneck compliment! ^^ That just shows how narrow-minded you truly are.

  • @Stelmaria21 "you say you have freedom of speech but at the same time, you write 3" yeah....what about it? I'm expressing my freedom of speech and informing you of it. That's the point, idiot. I also have the right to defend myself. You must not like it that I'm fighting back, I'm sorry I bruised your fragile ego.

  • no offense to all you germens but german language is not pretty on my ears, it sounds like garbage to me.

  • @AmericanHistoryLover

American english is garbage too XD I love the German language (L)

  • @THfanfille was that stab supposed to make me angry? cause it didn't. I love my country and my language but when you insulted just now, I laughed at you. Look, I respect your right to your oppinion and your love of your own language, if you are german, but I just said I don't like it, you understand that? And its MY oppinion, that you shouldn't dictate to me. I don't think german is a pretty language, its too guteral. But, that's just my thoughts, you're free to disagree.

  • @THfanfille I have no contempt for you or any germans, obviously you do to me though! I disagree with many of Germany's politics, but I have no hatred for that country. I just don't favor their language, as I said. No hatred meant to you or any german, but if you insult me or my people, I'm not gonna cower in a corner and let you bitch at me. I have a right to defend myself as you do. I just wanted to clear that up.

  • Herr der Ringe <333 echt tolles video.

  • I'm so fucking happy I don't live in Germany or France and NEVER have the ability to watch a movie without it being destroyed by some retarded voiceover shit.

  • @Jaykaylayhayfay ??? voiceover?

you mean like the man in the video talking german over the normal english? if yes: we RARELY have that... mtv is doing it all the time ^^

if you mean synchros: actually we're pretty good in synchronisations! the french or especially the spanish ones are FAR behind bad.

  • @Jaykaylayhayfay it's not that bad actually, better than just having to read subtitles while trying to really WATCH; or even better: having some polish or russian idk guy (no offense), dubbing every single person.

you know the german voices are louder and better to understand than the original ones very often.

but sometimes they really don't fit that well, in those cases I prefer watching the english versions, especially when it comes to TV serials. but I think I can live with that.

  • @Jaykaylayhayfay and you know usually the english voices are dubbed, soreplaced by the german ones in movies or tv series aso, this voice-over-thing just exists in interviews or reports, so in cinema you can lean back and watch, having your native language, it's just much more comfortable than in some other countries i think.

  • @Jaykaylayhayfay Some voiceovers are very good - but you are right...the original is always the best. (But I'm glad that the movies are dubbed - because than you can understand the movie completely - and you can enjoy the pics...without reading subtitles.) ^^ I'm from Germany

  • @Jaykaylayhayfay I'd rather watch it subbed anyway. That's how I watch foreign films. It's not as awesome as being able to understand the language and not having to look at words. But when I have a choice, I'd much rather watch it in the original language. It feels more real. Having someone dub over it doesn't give you the same feel. You don't get as much of a sense of the character. It's essentially like watching a cartoon that's not a cartoon. ^_^

  • @Jaykaylayhayfay our movies dont have voice overs, its just in interviews, and most of the time we have just subtitles. but the real movies are dubbed.

  • @Jaykaylayhayfay i think theres actually some voiceovers, them are better than the original .. Robin Williams or Heath ledgers for example ..

  • @Jaykaylayhayfay It's different but no shit! Lol' =)

    Kisses.

  • @Jaykaylayhayfay You know even if you live in germany or in france you can watch it with original voices ;)

  • @Jaykaylayhayfay

well, even in germany we have actually many people who are able to speak english.

even better is that these people are also able to go to cinemas which are bringing the movies in english.

furthermore there are films I've seen which were actually better with the voiceover than without. not many, but some^^

  • @Jaykaylayhayfay You can watch these movies in English even if you live in Germany, you know?

  • @Jaykaylayhayfay i'm from austria and its not as bad as you think to watch a film with other voices ^^ but a lot of friends are watching in english although its not their mother tongue

  • @Jaykaylayhayfay you know there are enough guys in germany that can understand the original too!

    i mean...billy boyd mustnt be voicecovered!! :D

  • hehehe... hearing a guy with a scottish accent speak German... XD

  • 1:36 Dom leans in and puckers his lips.

  • Ich habe eine kleine Kopfschmerzen ^^

  • whats so bloody hard in putting in subtitles instead of voicing over. the germans will never learn english if they can't even listen to the language itself

  • "the germans will never learn english..." fyi, every german learns english at school. and I think you might notice that lots of german youtube users comment in perfectly adequate english (like, for example, the thirteen year old SuperJuli101 whose comment is the highest rated for this video).

nothing wrong with a voice over, in my opinion subtitles are irritating.

  • @evilblueberry Personally, when watching an interview, I want to listen to the interviewee talking, which you can't hear properly with voice-overs half-muting them. Isn't that the point?

  • @fuhrerschein2008 let's just agree to disagree on that one. I prefer voice-overs, you prefer subtitles. But honestly, who cares? I think there are more important things to discuss :)

  • @evilblueberry At least on that one we agree :)

  • @evilblueberry "nothing wrong with a voice over"? Puh-lease. Everything's wrong with a voice over! Is a small piece of text at the bottom of the screen so bad? When considering the alternative is.... Bhlerg.I mean, think about it. You're watching a movie, and something is really well played out on the screen, and it's all supposed to be really gripping, while this idiotic moron who isn't even half the actor he's dubbing, is making a mockery out of the whole thing!

  • @Namaechan chill. It's my opinion, and I'm really not gonna discuss the pros and cons of subtitles and voice overs with you or anyone else.

  • @evilblueberry HOW IS THAT BETTER THAN SUBTITLES!?

  • @Namaechan IS THIS IMPORTANT? NO

  • @evilblueberry It may not be important, but it bugs me. So xP to you.

  • @evilblueberry I disagree with your last statement. Voice-overs kill the actor's performance and they always fail to deliver the same impact and intensity that the actor accomplishes.

  • @deadmemoriezs Totally agree

  • @deadmemoriezs Bullshit. You cannot generalize it. Also it's not a problem of the voice over, but of the language. Some jokes just won't work in another language, and well, some voice over actors are just not fit for their role, but sometimes an actor has not the fitting voice for his role, too. It's not a problem of over overs itself.

  • @deadmemoriezs are you aware of the fact that voice-over is nearly always done by actors? and what about the work of actors who do the voice-over in animated films? that requires proper acting too. aaaand, to defend the germans here: they actually do very good voice-over work and besides you can watch almost every english film in the original language as well in big cinemas. and by the way...all the germans i know are practically fluent in english and can speak french and spanish pretty well too

  • @deadmemoriezs: a few times you're right, but sometimes the synchro-actor/actress has a more impressive voice than the original one...*thinking of bruce willis/his german voice*

  • it sounds so cute when they speak german es ist wirklich niedlich -))))))))))))))))))))

  • GERMAN GRAMMAR IS F*CKED UP AND MAKES NO SENSE, THERE'S NO LOGIC BEHIND THE GERMAN LANGUAGE AT ALL, PERIOD.

  • @RotInHelI

It does makes sense but not much..hehe^^ i am german and i prefer the english language to be honest...it sounds much prettier and its far easier to learn :) german is difficult...but french aswell (oh i hate french...haha^__^ had to learn it at school xD)

  • @sturerFussl verräter

  • @evilblueberry

    idiooooot

  • @Rauschgift007 du fühlst dich auch ziemlich wichtig oder? HALLO ICH BIN COOL ICH BELEIDIGE MENSCHEN BEI YOUTUBE OHNE GRUND

  • @Ynapses

  • @RotInHelI So "too complicated for you to understand" equals "makes no sense"?

  • @RotInHelI

do you speak german or how do you know?

  • Haha 1:24-1:35 billy is just looking straight at the camera

  • son of a bitch

  • Billy reminds me of my German friend :D

  • " Ich habe eine kleine Kopfschmerzen" :D

    Süß ♥

  • I'm german n I think it's a difficult language to learn for foreigners....but I they're rly good, I love that....and they're acting of course ;)

  • Wie mega süß der Akzent ist *_*

  • hi, for everyone who was german or is from an eastern european country, it's probably easier to learn english because of certain similarities in the languages themselves. It is said the the closest language to english may in fact be german, so that might be why you find it so much easier. You actually don't need an accent for it, as it's somewhat straight forward, which is probably the only reason it's easier.

  • @ryerdesadhe

I guess you've never tried learning German, have you?

There's just so many differences in grammar etc. that aside from a few words that might be the same, German and English have nothing in common.

I actually think that English is more like French, tbh...

  • @saskewoo I don't want to be a youtube commenter stereotype here and start a pointless argument, but English has very, very little to do with French (I speak both.) But yes, German is indeed reputed to be a very difficult language for non-native speakers, whereas English is probably one of the easiest languages in the world.

  • @Vita1892

I speak English and German and I think I also now quite some French and Spanish.

What I meant was that there are definitely more similarities between English and French then between English and German (as ryerdesadhe suggested). I don't by any means want to say that once you've learned English, you'll be able to speak French. Just that there are far more similarities concerning words and perhaps some other things (it's not like French and Spanish which are actually very much alike).

  • @saskewoo Well...as far as I know, English was originally a Germanic language. Then I think it's somewhere around 1066 when the French spread their Frenchness into English. Oh and I commend you for learning multiple languages. I want to do the same thing

  • @unrecordable Yes, it all started with Indo-European, went on to Germanic, West Germanic, and there split into Anglo-Frisian (which developed into English) and German. And in 1066 the French conquered England and a lot of people began to speak French. Hence the French vocabulary in the English language .

PS-Good for you! I hope you do :D

It is very convenient to know more than one language, trust me ;)

  • cute :)

  • moiiii "ich habe eine kleine Kopfschmerzen" soo cute xD und typisch inkorrekt xD aber er macht das echt toll!!

  • Love you, Pippin!))))

  • @izzy0210

    hacker, bitch

  • @jadeewtf Are you kidding?

No that's not true!! It's quite simple!

  • @SuperJuli101

then how come everytime you press 1 for English on the phone you still get some motherfucker you cant understand?

  • god i love Dominic Maonaghan...

  • @JazzX15

weißt du, was das wort "Satz | zei | chen" bedeutet?

  • @Rauschgift007 was meinst du damit ?

  • @JazzX15

egaal.. der kommentar auf das sich das bezieht ist alt..

  • Billy spricht sooo schönes deutsch! <3

  • @ utelias she's right! Although german is my native language, i have sometimes problems with this silly grammar lol. but only SOMETIMES.. ;-) english much easier...

  • English is NOTHING compared to German. Don't get me wrong, I love the German language, but it's a pain in the ass to learn - there are a million grammar rules to follow.

  • wie süß, er hat eine kleine kopfschmerze^^

  • @NenaMaiiSchatz

ja hab ich mir auch gedacht ^^

  • I don't think that english is difficult. I am german and I started learn english when I was 8 (I'm 13 now) In my opinion: the german grammar is much harder than english grammar.

  • Yeah, the English grammar is nothing compared to German grammar. :D

  • @SuperJuli101 I think a LOT of languages are more difficult than English :) German, Finnish, Russian, Italian, French...I think that's also why English is the international language. If we all had to learn chinese I can't imagine what would happen in our schools.

  • @HaNaBiUcHiHa92 I can. We'd all drop into language induced comas XD. Or, you know, just accidentally say the wrong things at the wrong times and get into LOTS of trouble.

  • @SuperJuli101

English is actually the hardest language to learn.

  • @jadeewtf

actually SuperJuli101 is right...german has a more complicated grammar which makes it harder to learn than english, english is actually pretty simple

(and to give you an example: you use THE in english but in german you have to choose between DER,DIE,DAS(m.,f. and neutr.);engl. YOU gets used regardless of whom you are talking to,german differenciates between DU and a formal SIE;...),

maybe you should just trust use when we tell you that we found english to be very easy to learn ;)

  • @jadeewtf English is such an easy language to learn. it has many words that are similar to French and German, but the grammar is much less complicated. I am German and I learned English, French and Spanish in school and English pronunciation and vocabulary are much easier because English is a mostly monosyllabic language whereas French words are more difficult with the accents and all.

  • @SuperJuli101 I agree. I learn english and german too, and german is much more difficult

  • @SuperJuli101

i am slovenian and i agree, german is way more difficult than english...

  • @SuperJuli101 definitely. Learning german is extremely difficult.

  • @SuperJuli101 try dutch XD

im 16 years old and still fail at dutch grammar

    german is easier imo.

  • @SuperJuli101 I agree I'm Thai and started learning English... I don't know when but the problem with English is that each rules havs many exeptions to it that somethimes can be complicated (but it rarely happens)

  • @SuperJuli101 Word. So is the french one.

  • учите русский и не говорите, что английский сложный ;)

  • so damn cute

    pretty good speaking german

    dom is german,right?

  • he was born in germany and lived there til he was 4

  • they're so cute (:

  • I understood what Billy said XD

So much for half a year with german... sigh..

  • eine kleine kopfschmerzen .. süß :D

  • wtf

  • Comment removed

  • eine kleine kopfschmerzen ist ja süüüüß

  • I didnt know Dom was born & raised in Germany. I know all about Billy though, since I have googled him extensively. lol

  • "Ich heiße Billy"

  • ja-aber was ist amin?^^

  • Is ja süß, wie der deutsch spricht :)

  • I have to learn the grammar of german now it's pretty hard

    with like an,amin,im zum,zur seinem seiner+n

  • English is much easier, right?

  • actually German is really easy to learn,I am taking it for my 2nd language in school and its pretty simple.

  • Ach wirklich?

Dann zeig mal was du drauf hast. Erzähl mir mal irgendwas intressantes, damit ich es sehe:P

P.S.: In welchem Jahr bist du?
