  • My uncle went to the same high school as ewing they played basketball 2gether

  • I'm a Seattle-born 38-year old in 2011. So, I grew up watching Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp. And, I'll say that after all these great years, Ewing couldn't even manage 10 ppg in Seattle, because punk Gary Payton wouldn't throw him the ball. Payton was a PUNK. Even in 2000-01, I was PUMPED when we got marquee superstar Pat Ewing in Seattle.

  • 2:15 Is that the late, but great Dave DeBucherre?

  • this is the missing link

  • Nice songs.

  • Patrick Ewing still can't get the taste of Michael Jordan's junk out of his mouth to this day...

  • "Patrick?"

    "Hey Ryan....GRRRAAAAAGHHH!!!"

    A beast.

  • ewing is why newyork dont have champships if fuck up in 94 & 95. 94 he left his man to set a pick. seting it up for hot hand stark to get his his block. (& it was to decide the game) 95 every 1 knws what happend. starks made up for the fact that he missed free throw but ewiing had the shot to decide the game

  • kingkong

  • What song is this in the background?

  • can enybody tellme the name of the first song ? thank you

  • "We can get down"- A Tribe Called Quest; Midnight Maurauders; 1993

  • big ewing

  • anyone know where i can find a clip of Ewing's horrible injury when he shattered his wrist? I think it was on the road against the Bucks.

  • he got fouled by andrew lang. and ironically he later became teammates with ewing in the next season

  • 10/10

simply one of the most terriffic tapes on tube!

  • You can't read, can you?

He said that the knicks need ANOTHER Patrick Ewing

  • yeah learn to read you inbred.

  • damn i miss patrick ewing. the knicks havn't been the same since they traded him. that's what they need, another "patrick ewing"

  • he really is one of the best players in basketball at every level. High School, College, and the NBA

  • The greatest player ever, hes my hero, he represents everythin new york is, bring him back to NY!

  • ill say a same kind of play like hakeem olajuwon...

  • I'm gonna say it right now and fuck the haters: New york deserves respect. Ewing defines what New York is all about: never back down but keep it smooth. Good job with the Tribe in the background. Just listen to that: Who flows like that. Peace to everybody back in the battle grounds!! 192 I hear you.

  • New York State of Mind

  • Greates rapper NaS with his greatest song, and the greatest center of All-Time...IMO...Great MiX

  • UR ASS IS GOOD ONLY TO GET DUNKED ON

  • bitch he would smoke any of your players

  • The Hoya Destroya.

There isn't a center in the league now that could hold his or Hakeem's jock.

    RIP the Center Position

Its so perfect they're going in the HOF together...

  • @illegalmachine This my be late but....ikr! It's so ironic that they were rivals going back to college, and then after that they're going to the Hall Of Fame together.

  • Can you say the name of the second song? when he's playing with the nicks

  • @orchapitas Nas-NY State of mind

  • uno de los mejores centros de la historia

  • best big man player ever in my opinion...

  • Patrick Ewing & John Starks 4 ever.

    This was NY. Knicks

  • why did u show him fighting? ur just disgracing him a bit here.. sorry 3 stars only

  • this player is best ever

  • Patrick Ewning was good for one thing. . . Getting dunked on

  • and post up game the special only for him

    and strong ribounder.

  • with unique post up game and power in the

    paint area.

  • everytime he got dunked on he had his back turned, cause every player knew they would get thir shit swatted if they tried to do it on him head on, he dunked on people the real way

  • damn, can someone call pat ewing's agent, the knicks can sure as hell use him now!!!!

  • to me,the golden era of basketball was 85-95.

  • @phunkykarma an undeniable era ... truely glad i witnessed it. :) so many great players.

  • The Beast!!! All time starting five!!!

  • I dunno who i like better Georgetown or North carolina...

  • sickkk video PE best knick ever

  • you mean best PLAYER ever... not only knick

PE my love... why no ring? :(

  • Patrick Ewing one of The Greatest Centers of All Time!!

  • patrick ewing is the great.too bad that john starks dind't pas the ball at the 1994 nba finals because olajuwon is someone where you can't go easy trough.MJ and The Dream were hard but patrick was still the great even they haven't got a nba title with him it was a great player of the whole entire knicks.

  • never saw Patrick at Cambridge..watched his whole career..dominated college..played for a shit org.85-90, that's 5 years of waste..91-95 his knees began to hurt..needed a Magic or a Barkley early on + a coach..

  • tribe called quest - we can get down

    1st song

  • Man thanks for showin' those old Georgetown tapes of my favorite college team and my all time favorite player, Mr. Hoya-Patrick Ewing. Patrick is a wonderful wonderful person as well as he is a great player.

  • the beast... great player.. great person..

can you say the name of the first song?

  • We Can Get Down - A Tribe Called Quest

  • olajuwon is way better than pat althought he was really great! go rockets

  • Never see videos from Patrick in his early years in NBA back in 85-86

  • Ewing carried the Knicks the whole time he was there. Look at the garbage he was surrounded by, and he also had to face MJ every damn year in the playoffs. Plus, Starks shot 2/18 in game 7 vs the rockets in 94. Ewing rules.

  • Ewing waz onwing Olajuwon.Da Rockets got lucky winin da 1994 nba finals.

  • i like the steal and dunk over rodman

  • he played in an era with David Robinson and Hakeem Olajuwon. Olajuwon was better than pat, because he won two titles. robinson won 2 titles, too, but robinson made only an averag of 10 points in this years( 1999 and 2003). Hakeem was the leader in 1994/95 and 1993/1994 with wide over 20 ppg and 10 rpg.

  • Yea but thats because that was later in his career.. Tim Duncan was a incredible rookie.. there was no reason for Robinson to score 20 a game.. but preduncan.. he was 25ppg, 10rb, 3blks a game center

  • hoya destroya

  • great center

  • haha. crossover at the end of the video. only pat could do that.

  • Good memories. Ewing didn't just block shots - he ate 'em up.

  • Im from the same Highschool Pat created a basketball city

  • makes me feel good

  • the man
