  • Suzanne Lukas never received a kiss from her children.

  • nether regoins lol

  • Alright, well it was funny until the "riot in the sack" and what followed. that was a little creepy in your monotone. lol still quite legitimately called out though, i hope shes seen this.

  • What I want to know is why is a young man wearing two diamond earrings?! Seems a bit strange and effeminate....but yeah. What a dick of a teacher. Obviously no idea how to command respect, manage charges and relate to youth.

  • Well said.

  • Id think of her more like a Roman Catholic Church Inquisitor.

  • @Virgil077 NOboby expects the Spanish Inquisition!

  • Wow... thankkkk you

I go to Bonny Eagle. She wasn't fired or anything, there was no point, apparntly, because she only has one year left on her contract. But you have a great point.

  • I say go after her job and $. Wake that bitch up

  • I love the word 'martinet' and it seems to be perfect for Ms Lukas

  • what the! this is crazy she needs to be fired

  • that was a verbal bitch-slap. well played.

  • good job, totally accurate

  • FIRE the stuperintendent.

And if anyone is looking for her right now, she is standing in a kool-aid line somewhere in South America.

  • Please, isn't there any lawyers out there to help this kid to sue that cnut Suzanne Lukas for emotional distress or whatever else will stick.

  • It has come to my attention by stupidsuzannelukas something I was unaware of withdiploma denials. He showed me a link where favortism was shown among the students. I was there like Ive said before, and no matter how you blind-sited people may see it, Suzanne Lukas will step down or be fired. I find it awful convenient her going on vacation. More like an absent of leave if you ask me. This has gone National so obviously she did something wrong. I doubt she'll be lucky enough to get OJs lawyer.

  • Keep investigating the details...I wish you luck.

  • "Keep investigating the details"

I've been doing some other looking and finding that Lukas has a history of inspiring ill will. Also some interesting legal shenanigans her husband was involved in.

Re: whether she keeps all things in her professional world in order, I saw at least one reference to non-functional fire alarms being left unrepaired on her watch. Don't have all the details but that's certainly a tad more serious than a patch of peeling paint.

  • owheydusoapsk - "What's the ax you have to grind w/this woman?"

Never heard of her or Bonny Eagle until this incident. It pissed me off and I felt motivated to comment. My issue is with wrong-minded people in positions of authority. No big mystery.

If this seems odd to you, you need to do some serious self examination.

  • I don't think so. There's something your not saying. Your too upset.

  • We have another failed mind-reader folks.

What I've said is how it is. I can't help it if you want to look for ulterior motives that don't exist.

  • No, I felt the same way. I might not have spoken to her sexual pecadillos and all, but I agree with the OP.

  • What's the op?

  • Sorry, that's from another site Ibelong to. It means Original Post.

  • So wounded were you by my pointing out your hypocrisy, you scurried back here to try and obfuscate it. But ultimately you agree I'm right. My editorializing about Frau Lukas doesn't change this. Unfortunately an apology doesn't fix the damage and I seriously doubt any such apology will be forthcoming. She imposes her pettiness at the literal point of a gun with police presence, the students and parents have no such recourse.

  • "you actually searched through all my commentary"

Hardly, it was right there on you profile page for all the world to see. I'm not aware that it's even possible to search through someone's comments on Youtube.

Swing and a miss hypocrite. "Yes, there is a difference between attacking physical characteristics of superstars"

Elaborate on what that difference would be. They're both public figures. So you're not really opposed to comments on physical appearance.

  • I'm from Maine, had two children graduate over the last 3 years, (not at BEH). I can understand a rule to not play to the audience on your way to receive your diploma. I can understand that it's a ritual hide-bound by tradition in which what distinguishes students to the crowd visually, are the different colored cloths that indicate academic achievment. I'm sure they have an athletic awards night to acknowledge outstanding athletes. It's not my town and it is obviously a very emotional issue.

  • Maybe the solution will be to simply mail students their diploma at the end of the year and skip a formal ceremony.

  • I am shocked! I mean shocked! I have had teachers to pass drugs to me and offer sex, publicly humiliate me and bully me.That was why I quit school because the teachers were worse than the mean students. Now I see this and it makes me wonder why.

  • I saw oheyjulia's vid and I must admit they're interesting.

The first kid, maybe the super didn't see him-maybe.

The second one pointed at the crowd and he was denied...that should've been a hint and a half for Justin Denny's ass, and everyone else who thought they were going to go beyond that...which is what Justin did.

The other guy throwing the peace sign up at the last minute? lol...I don't know...maybe he was just lucky.

Inconsistent? sure. maybe. I wouldn't take that chance with her.

  • The contract spelled out the behavioral expectations of the commencement. The time to gripe would've been BEFORE graduation ceremonies.

But that's right...looks like most of the students were "anal rententive" because they actually followed the contract, unlike Denney.

Answer this: if Denney would've followed the rules, would this have been an issue???

    I'll wait.

  • Which part of the rules? To an extent it appears they were non-specific. If he didn't pull out the string, would she still have decided his waving to his family was "disruptive"? She demonstrated inconsistency regarding this.

A right-minded administrator would have just let it slide. Unfurling a swastika or snapping a Nazi salute would be one thing, hers was just the act of a small mind.

  • What part of the rules? You're kidding, right?

You saw the other vid where she made other students sit down down for much less.

Justin stopped as if to say "hold up", then pulled out the cords, waved, pointed at family/blowing kiss, etc...

Common sense dictated that he would be told to sit.

That's like getting upset when we get a ticket because we saw someone else speeding who seemed to get away with it...childish.

Again- If Denney would've followed THE RULES, would this have been an issue?

  • Honestly? I would've been the student like Justin. Varsity baseball letterman going to college on a baseball and music scholarship.

I am of mixed ethnicity. As a matter of fact, I resembled Justin when I was his age. Same color, etc...

Here's the difference...if I knew that the superintendent "don't play", then it would've been clear to just chill out and wait until after graduation before sporting the cords.

We've all had to abide by the rules even when we thought they were stupid-right?

  • "if I knew that the superintendent "don't play" "

Apparently she plays inconsistently - take a look at oheyjulia's video. Seems Frau Lukas is selective in her pissiness.

Sorry guy, this whole cords issue is uncompelling and only reinforces my initial impression. You, her and maybe 2 other anal retentives in the world care. It's a petty, bullshit reason to ruin an event like this for a student.

  • Well, we'll just agree to disagree.

The issue seems to be what rules are you going to enforce and what rules are you going to ignore? Of course if you ignore rules then you weaken your stance, whether a teacher, principal, super, employer, etc...

One needs to wonder if you're going to wink at rules and ignore them, then why even have them to begin with? Right?

If the community doesn't like the way graduation ceremonies are conducted, then they should speak up. Don't bitch after the fact.

  • If she wants to set an example for students, she should start with observing healthy dietary guidelines and waddling on over to a treadmill on occasion.

The point about whether her ship's in complete order, is she handed some irrevocable penalty for every petty infraction related to what she's "supposed" to do or oversee being done? Wanna bet we can find a few?

And I don't see waving to your family from the stage as an infraction, and fussing over a string to be asinine.

  • AHHHHH....so it's about her weight, because you keep mentioning it as if it's so vital to the real issue at hand.

Why do we keep shifting the blame back to the woman who told him to sit down? He's the one who pulled the fake cords out and then tried to cover it up by pointing and blowing a kiss...he's a manipulative bastard who knew it was wrong, but he found out didn't he? The rest of the track team decided not to pull their cords out...you know why? They knew she was serious. Damn right.

  • "Why do we keep shifting the blame back to the woman who told him to sit down?" Kid goes through 12-13 years of school to run into this little wall of flesh whose psychology is consumed with petty control-freakism at the last possible second.

You keep dodging the point of whether she "follows the rules" in every regard she's supposed to and the level of penalty she's subjected to when she doesn't.

But it's clear you and she are like-minded. That's unfortunate.

  • If you've ever taught before you'll know that you don't catch everybody. That's fucked up logic. Crying unfair because someone else seemed to get away with it. Yet others were caught and told to sit down. He was more blatant than those who had to sit. Of course he's sitting down. Your obsession with the super is getting somewhat concerning here. Do you have a fetish with fat women of power??? shuddering...never mind.

  • The subject here is Lukas. I'm hypothesizing about rules, laws or things related to the schools that are clearly spelled out in some code, spec or guideline that she's supposed to be overseeing that aren't exactly the way they're supposed to be.

Re: the grad inconsistency, she was clearly looking at that first kid clomping across the stage both arms in the air, not possible she missed it.

  • "Your obsession with the super is getting somewhat concerning here."

Says the guy who's written a dissertation in comments here, defending the indefensible.

"Do you have a fetish with fat women of power?"

No, I just recognize petty wrong-mindedness. You're pegging the meter.

  • Great comeback. That was funny. Really!

I can have an open mind and I am open to the possibility of changing my mind. I'm also prepared to admit if I'm wrong. After all, it's healthy to do so. Here's where I'm not willing to budge--his plan to stop, and pull out the cords from under his robe/collar when he knew that was clearly wrong. An impulsive wave or appreciation towards family? That's understandable.

To me, it's about the cords. Done with the dissertation.

  • "To me, it's about the cords. "

So now to locate the one other person on Earth besides you and Lukas who see this as a really, really big deal. While it remains a weak argument, it still doesn't explain Lukas denying diplomas to some in her line of sight who simply made a gesture toward the audience - but not others. Clearly to her it wasn't just about the cords.

  • 0:47-0:56 my favorite part!

    this woman needs a life......

  • Suzanne Lukas is a tightass bitch.

  • BTW, according to other witnesses, when Justin was called out on the issue of pulling out the fake cords, the other track members got the message and did not follow Justin's lead, because they knew if they did, they would be sat down. Wow...a deterrent. Can you imagine that?

This superintendent might be a terrible jerk. I don't know. But if parents and students didn't like these stringent rules, then the shouldn't have signed the contract--they should've protested! Don't whine afterwards.

  • "the issue of pulling out the...cords. Wow...a deterrent."

Petty horseshit - the only person on the planet who gives a rats ass about this is portly Frau Lukas.

They were essentially coerced into signing the so-called "contract", and from what I gather it means essentially whatever Lukas wants it to mean.

  • lol...

Okay, so get angry AFTER you didn't follow the contract.

    Gotcha...

btw, if you've been involved in the educational system, you'd realize that she isn't the only one who runs graduations like this. Many school districts in Texas run their graduations in a very similar fashion. Once the ceremony is over, that's when the seniors go crazy! But, I know that each community handles it differently. They need to make up their mind at Bonny Eagle...then everything should be cool.

  • "Okay, so get angry AFTER you didn't follow the contract."

Uh huh. Does Frau Lukas ever exceed the speed limit? Is *everything* in the school district exactly as it should be? All OSHA stuff, every rule and reg being met to the letter, no leaky roofs, not a single structural issue with any portable, no mold in the AC ducts, no questionable fire extinguishers, no teachers paying for supplies out of pocket they're not supposed to have to, etc. etc.?

  • Good point. But if the superintendent exceeds the speed limit, would she have a legitimate case against the police dept.??? Or would she be subject to the punishment that the regular citizen would have to suffer? Probably depends on the dept.

Based on your argument, I'm thinking a student with excessive tardies or truancy from school could pose the same questions, but I don't think it's going to do a bit of good.

Solution? Abide by the rules. Pretty simple huh?

    They have no case here.

  • randy... i already told you on another video that you and Lukas are the only people who are upset about the cords.. get over it.

  • And you see that I didn't really care about what you thought...

  • The video said it all! Very funny, true & well said!

  • dodododa,,I dont know you, but I have no respect for you, and probably wouldnt if I were your student, you are the voice incarnate, of why our public school system sucks, no wonder we have the most un educated students in the world,, you must gain your respect by arrogannce and tyranny... try teaching students instead of being a dictator.. respect is earned ,not demanded like a taco at a drive through... you people make me sick...grow up and do whats right for the young people.for once..

  • dodododa dosn't know a thing about this and has some talent not to see anyone's point of view but her own. get your head out of your ass and take a look around at the normal people. this is about a decent kid who apparently done nothing wrong. so why do you act as if he killed someone? does it ruin their graduation if they step a toe out of line? if he waved or blew a kiss to his family for a moment should that moment ruin the experience of the graduation he has worked for, for the past 12 years

  • "attacked Ms. Lukas' physical appearance"

I believe there's a connection between her outward appearance and her psychology which we've seen manifested in Glorious Technicolor. She's issued a global invitation to be derided and she deserves every bit of it.

Oh, speaking of juvenile, ugly remarks, elsewhere I see DeloresHaze12 said "Kid Rock is so ugly." I see, so stoner Rockers are fair game but not miserable fatass school administrators.

  • i agree with you on the whole thing. I don't mind the insults you threw in there like the person below me. it just shows that you feel strongly about this. i feel so sorry for the kid. i havn't graduated yet but when its my turn to graduate i hope i don't ever have something ruin mine. I would have been so embarrised and angry. There is not much she could do to repay him.

  • very very very well said.

  • well said, the young man worked all his life to achieve this goal and to be denied at that moment and time, for what ? Suzanne resigning would be accepted.

  • You have to write a lot of discipline referrals because you're a soft liberal and the kids don't respect you. I rarely have to refer student on, and I work with some of the toughest kids in the state.

  • Liberal? LOL...that's a hoot. You know squat about my circumstances. We've established that you can't read minds, what else do you suck at?

Kids who have serious shit hanging over their heads have more motivation to not screw up. If you're in dropout prevention or the like I'm pretty sure you don't have 45 of them at a time by yourself.

If you support this broad pulling this stunt with Justin Denney then just like her your head's up your ass.

  • The students were going wild that day, she pleaded with them not spoil the occasion, to do things in an orderly way, yet he still bounced up there and gave her a bunch of lip.

Very few people know how to manage kids. If you were working in my facility the kids would expose your every weakness. You would take a lax approach to the rules, using your judgment to choose when to enforce them. So your kids will know no boundaries and have to be severely disciplined. My kids will pass the program.

  • dodododa, evidently you have some issues. Whether it's control issues, sexuality issues, family issues, I don't care, but the point is, is that you seem to think that you are above everyone. I don't know you personally, I hope, but I can tell by the way you attack someone for attacking another that clearly abused their power, that you seem to think that you have what it takes to control children. Evidently you're wrong. If she wasn't in the wrong then why is everyone clearly saying she is?

  • I'm good at managing young people. The kids respect me a great deal more than the goof ball staff who let them get away with everything.

And you don't know anything "clearly". You've only heard one side of the story. You're one of these easily lead weak people who believes the first thing they hear.

  • I was at the "incident in question" and I know EXACTLY what went on, and if you had watched the news recently, you would have heard exactly what words were exchanged. But alas, your head is too far up your own ass to realize the predicament that you have gotten yourself into. Your the type to believe in yours and only your beliefs even after you've been proven wrong. I wouldn't be surprised if you are, or have some relation to Suzanne Lukas...

  • "The kids respect me a great deal more than the goof ball staff"

    Sure they do.

"weak people who believes the first thing they hear. "

You mean like the unsubstantiated claims of some bloviator who keeps insisting how much kids respect him?

You've demonstrated you're immune to accepting information and reality, I have an idea of what kind of teacher you are. From what I've seen the primary qualification of dropout prevention staff isn't competency but a willingness to be there.

  • You're ignoring the facts both of the event and what I said. Never said there should be no bounds but that her actions were ludicrous & unwarranted. He gave her no "lip", you simply share her petty, shriveled distaste for his exuberance. Yes, how DARE he "bounce" up there and briefly acknowledge his family.

"my facility the kids would expose your every weakness" - Ok Sgt. Rock, sure. You're sounding more & more like a character from a bad movie.

  • You don't know what he said to her and how he said it, you've only heard one side of the story. She was promoted because she's tough. If you've chosen to be one of those goof ball teachers who's everyone's best friend that's your prerogative, we can't all be like that, someone has to be in control.

  • "You don't know what he said to her and how he said it,"

Well champ she's avoided all opportunity to set the record straight if he's lying. There were witnesses & I've heard no contradiction of his account. We have video evidence of his so-called "disruptive behavior". AFAIK all this broad has said is "I was enforcing the rules", which while ludicrous exactly fits the profile I've asserted. It all would have been a non issue save for her screwed up mentality.

  • If you were to have watched the news very recently, you would have heard EXACTLY what he said to her. You're just one of these people you think that they are all high and mighty and just like to push people around via the internet. How dare you call me weak. You're the one that obviously has not heard the full story. If you think that a child should not receive his diploma just because he showed his academic chords then I believe just like the author of this video that youre a wannabe dictator.

  • The other students already wearing the academic cords had them proudly displayed outside of their gown. Those cords were sanctioned by the school. Justin and others were SPECIFICALLY told not wear those home made cords at graduation because they were not permitted.

Now, one could argue that point, (parents and students) but if so then it should've been done BEFORE graduation ceremonies...

Instead, Justin and other members of the track team thought they would "buck the system"...cont...

  • cont...

Now, I suppose you can say "so what?" to the fact that Justin and other members of the track team planned to deliberately defy the rules by pulling out the unsanctioned cords anyway...okay. Fine.

Just don't try to mix and mingle emotion here...it wasn't about the kiss and the bow to mom and family, it was about deliberately defying the rules. The contract stated that you were not to add anything else to the cap and gown...

Makes me sound like a prude, huh? cont...

  • cont...I'm just stating the rules and I'm stating what hasn't been clearly reported yet by the meaning. I think sexual innuendos have no place here. If they were then I'd say that the person talking on this vid sounds like a gay Dr. Phil on crack, but I'm not going there. :)

Seriously, I think we need to make up our minds...if rules don't matter at commencement ceremonies then why not contract them out and let parent and student do whatever they want. Nobody should lose their job over this.

  • "Seriously, I think we need to make up our minds"

I have made up my mind.
