Contemporary country music is a joke. The Nashville recording industry and country radio have ruined country music, but they couldn't have done it withoiut the money that they get from people who buy the CDs and the concert tickets. The real blame should be placed on all the people with no taste and no appreciation for the beauty of authentic country music who continually buy the crap being sold to them so they can feel like they are part of a lame trend. All hat and no taste.

I first saw this clip a year or so ago, and I gotta say it is one of the best clips (imo) on all of youtube!! Ive seen George and Loretta together before, but never singing. And I used to watch the GJ Show all the time when I was little, dunno how I missed this one! To me this is like a dream come true, the two of them are who set the bar for me with what great singers and great music should be. Love this and love them. Yeah pretty great! I remember waiting for every tuesday on TNN for " The George Jones Show ". Being only 15 back in 98 & 99 and starving for REAL country music, George's was one of the only one around to showcase real country. Lot's of guests, only one's that weren't on it were Cash, and Strait. I miss that show.
