@muaythaijunky There are other ways than waging war to help oppressed people. A war with NK would likely result in the deaths of many thousands, perhaps millions, of (innocent) people. Given the choice between being a bit hungry or being dead, I'd pick being hungry. At least then there would be some hope for the future.

If you think a country where the people are impoverished peasants who can barely eat and die of basic illnesses are going to change, especially when they think their leader is literally a living god then you know nothing. No outside media, no way to challenge their world view.
