  • my daughter has ee but its not a food allergy, she has a very rare immune ee, she is in so much pain, her ee is 55 high power , she is the only one in Australia with this condition, she cant eat much food as it gets stuck and is very painful for her to swallow , she has 2 tins of neocate advanced over a 16 hour period, she is on every reflux, steroid, and morphine medication for the pain, the specialists are finding it very hard to treat her, god bless your son xx

  • i'm so sorry you and your son have to go through this.

i am thinking of you and your family. I suffer from Crohn's Disease so this touches me deeply.

  • im not trying to be rude, but y does he only have one eye? is it part of what he has??

i hope he gets better soon :)

  • The disease has nothing to do with that. Just how he was born I guess.

  • Hello! I am only 12 and I may have both EE and Dysphagia. I am going in to get put to sleep so the doctors can put a camera down my throat and see what I have. I have heartburn, acid reflux, and almost anything gets stuck in my throat. There was one point where I couldn't swallow anything. All I could eat was yogurt, but that still got stuck in my throat. This gets better and worse for me, but I wish your son the best of luck!

  • I'm so sorry to hear that!! My son has alot of your symptoms to but he gets really bad stomach aches and cramping. Did you go for allergy testing too?? Thats very helpful. Well I wish you all the best too!! :)

  • That's kinda funny you ask that, I get that done in a week or so. And thanks!

  • Ur welcome hope your fine it turns out that my friend doesn't have EE. Go check out my Awareness video in my channel

    above.

  • ya I wish I can help to. I really want to help your son. so sorry.

I want to raise awareness. i think my friend has EE I want to be a scientist wen I'm older so I can help kid's like your son and DestroyAndAvoid. Hope yours son's alright. and best wishes to you to DistroyAndAvoid. :(

  • @DestroyAndVoid1I hope you get better. I thought I had it bad when I got sick, but this is worse. I hope this doesn't stop you from being a kid!

  • @DestroyAndVoid18 I hope all is going well. I got diagnosed with EE 3 years ago, and was given flovent as an anti-inflammatory inhaler. After being re-scoped, the doctor said everything looked normal, but i still feel that "food getting stuck" sensation. I believe a big part of this disorder is mental, and there is a difference between food feeling that it's stuck, and actually choking. Not once in my life have I ever choked and couldn't breathe. Psychological work may help a lot! good luck

  • I have EE...its been 8 long years...since i was 10...but i'm managing. no medications yet. but im fine heh. the only things i can really say, is stay strong n never give up. thats what got me through...and is getting me through.

  • you're son is still young...I have EE as well and its pretty easy to manage once he gets older. I take protonix once every other day (started once a day everday but I do well with once every other day) and Fluticasone once a day in alternating as follows: 1 day 1 puff, the next day 2 puffs, day after that 1 puff and so on. I started out with four puffs a day then the doctor gradually took me down. You're son will be fine although its pretty freaky when food gets stuck down ther!

Good luck to your little guy and know there are other people out there hoping for some breakthrough.
